30 Additional NASCAR Digital Media Functionality Requirements 30
31 Audio/Video Requirements All Audio and Video must be user initiated by click and have a clear and visible mute button. Looping is not permitted. No host-initiated audio is permitted. All in-banner video can auto play for 30 seconds, Audio must be user initiated by click. Audio must be user-initiated by clicking within the banner and contain clearly visible "mute" and "stop" functionality. Video File Size is a maximum of 2.5 MB and maximum frame rate is 18 FPS. All audio will conform to dial norm specs: -24 lkfs Standard format is stereo on channels 1&2 and Dolby 5.1 on 3-8. If standard hi-res format differs from this, this must be specified so we can transcode to our format. ALL mez files should have stereo encoded on channels 1 and 2. If 5.1 is available, put it on channels 3 through 8 and specify via the XML. Audio typical operating level corresponds with 20dbfs. All audio must not peak above -10dBFS. Animation: All animation time is 15sec with max of 3 loops. Any Video over 15 seconds will be skippable by the user after 5 seconds. Skippable video is not available on ios mobile web. Please Note: Audio and video probably can t be supported in most app ads since it could conflict with other app features (excluding rich media or page takeovers). 31
32 Functionality Animation All animation time is 15sec with max of 3 loops. Frame Rate Frame rate is 24fps. Flash Flash version can go up to 11. Please provide a static image for all Flash files. Border All ads must have a 1px border around the creative if the color is white or the same color as the site background. Close Button A mandatory "CLOSE X" button(s) must be prominent and obvious in the top right corner for floating, out-of-banner, billboard, pushdown and expandable banner ads initiated by a user's click. Close button font size must be 11 pixels, bold text, and 4 pixel padding around the text. The ad, including the CLOSE button, may not cover core page navigation or other ads. 32

The ad will need a clearly visible close button, top right corner (Prominent and obvious, preferably 11 pixels font size bold text and 4 pixel padding around the text). Must include both the word CLOSE and X. The ad will need to auto-close after 8 seconds of non-interaction. FPS: 24 FPS Load time: We prefer the ad to load within 1 second, but let us know if more time may be needed and we can discuss options. Auto-expands for 8 seconds to 970x418 before collapsing to a 970x66. It must push the content down. Must contain a clearly defined close button. Frequency Cap on 1 impression every 24 hours File Size: Initial Load 200k Max Polite Load 300k Max If the Pushdown contains video: It is a limit of 2.2MB Must contain clear and visible stop, play, pause, mute buttons/functionality. Z-Index Minimum Z-Index = 0 Maximum Z-Index = 299 Z-Index This is merely a guide for what the z-index value should be in order for ads to work properly with menus and other elements on the page. In general, Pushdowns across all sites should have a z-index of 0. However, there are instances when special site templates can cause the Pushdown value to need to be >1 in order for the pushdown to be seen. 39 Terms and Conditions All new creative types will be addressed on a case by case basis. The testing of any new ad units will be no longer than 5 days after the ad unit is properly implemented and served through the ad management system. All contents of advertisements are subject to review and approval by NASCAR Digital Media. NASCAR Digital Media reserves the right to reject and/or remove any advertisement or content if such advertisement is not consistent, in NASCAR Digital Media s sole judgment, with the content of the NASCAR.com or general advertising guidelines for NASCAR Digital platforms. All units must click through or have a click through provided. Images should be delivered as a standard.gif /.jpg /.png All Flash/animated creative should be delivered with backup static creative No floating ads allowed across the site. No expandable units in any pop-up application. Unless otherwise provided herein, all creative (text, artwork, and other components of the ad display) must be received at least 5 days prior to the date it is scheduled to run. If creative is not received within the timeframe prescribed hereby, guaranteed impressions will be reduced pro-rata for the period of time that the reserved space was not filled due to delayed creative without affecting Agency's/Advertiser's financial responsibility for all impressions ordered. 39
