1 This checklist is used t prvide guidance and clarificatin n aspects f the auxillary Startup Service (G2949CA) including Security Pack Installatin and Familiarizatin f yur Agilent 2100 Bianalyzer System (G2939BA) purchase. Crrect installatin is the first step in ensuring that the instrument and system perate reliably ver an extended lifetime. This checklist will be cmpleted at the end f the service and prvided t yu as a recrd f the Startup Service. Security Pack Familiarizatin cmprises the fllwing parts: Security Pack Installatin Security Pack Familiarizatin Service Review Imprtant infrmatin: Installatin f the 2100 Bianalyzer System G2939BA, as well as basic Hardware, Sftware and Assay Familiarizatin are cvered in the dedicated Startup Services fr the system. Custmer Infrmatin In preparatin fr this Familiarizatin Service, the Agilent Service persnnel has t verify with yu that the Installatin and Familiarizatin f the general 2100 Bianalyzer System was already cmpleted. A system administratr (e.g. a representative f the lcal IT team) must be available thrughut this The IT system administratr has t create user accunts fr each user f the Security Pack. The user accunts required fr the familiarizatin shuld be set up n the perating system prir t this The IT system administratr has t define the "lcal security plicy" (lck ut plicy and passwrd plicy) Agilent ffers nly supprt n best effrt basis fr third party PC cnfiguratins. The specificatins f the PC being used tgether with the 2100 Bianalyzer instrument and Security Pack have t match the nes required by Agilent. IT Security fr the PC used tgether with the 2100 Bianalyzer System will be inherited t the 2100 Expert Sftware. Nte: Administrative rights are needed fr installatin and use f the 2100 Expert Security Pack sftware The Security Pack reuses the authenticatin scheme f the Windws perating system such that the identity f any user authrized t use the Security Pack are knwn t the perating system. Nte: If users frm the netwrk/dmain shall perate the Security Pack, the generic 2100System accunt must be a full dmain user with lcal administrative rights. Please nte that this service includes a basic familiarizatin f the Agilent 2100 Expert Security Pack Sftware with dem users. 2 Service Engineer's Respnsibilities Discuss familiarizatin tpics with custmer within the alltted time. Cmplete the relevant checkbxes in the checklist using a X r tick mark in the checkbx. Cmplete "Nt Applicable" check bxes t indicate ptinal services r prduct functinality nt included Only cmplete/printut sectins r pages that relate t the system that has been installed. Cmplete empty fields with the relevant infrmatin. Cmplete the Service Review sectin tgether with the custmer. Discusses pssible prblem areas befre ging nsite (e.g. available bench space, humidity and temperature in lab). Startup Service Details - Security Pack The Startup Service is intended t give peratrs a basic verview f the peratin and maintenance f new instruments, assays and sftware and is nt designed t substitute fr a full peratr training curse. The Startup Service is a training t be delivered t the user(s) f the instrument and nt t a grup f peple. The end user must knw hw t perate a cmputer and be familiar with the perating system. Familiarizatin des nt include training n the PC, perating system r netwrks. Security Pack Installatin Fr dem purpse, the fllwing perating system users and rles are used: 2100admini (fr the 2100 Administratr); Passwrd: 2100admini 2100advanced (fr the 2100 Advanced peratr); Passwrd: 2100advanced 2100standard (fr the 2100 Standard peratr); Passwrd: 2100standard 2100validatin (fr the 2100 Validatin peratr); Passwrd; 2100validatin Setup users The system administratr (e.g. custmer's IT) fr the perating system shuld create the user accunts required fr the familiarizatin f the Security Pack Sftware n the system prir t this The system administratr (e.g. custmer's IT) has t create the remaining users fr the 2100 Expert Sftware Security Pack. Fr each perating system user the system administratr (e.g. custmer's IT) has t make sure that each user is nly a member f the "Users" grup (Right click n username > Prperties >Member f) Clse the Cmputer Management windw t finish. 3 Definitin f Lcal Security Plicy In the Windws Cntrl Panel\Administrative Tls\Lcal Security Plicy, the system administratr (e.g. custmer's IT) has t define the Accunt Plicy (like lg ut and passwrd plicy) and Lcal Security Plicy (User Rights like "deny lgn lcally" r "deny lgn as a service" shuld nt list the 2100System accunt r it's grup; "allw lgn lcally" shuld cntain grups f lcal users) Shw custmer hw t manage lgn attempts (e.g. accunt lckut plicy) Security Pack installatin Install the Security Pack license and fllw the instructins. Cmplete the setup wizard f the Security Pack installatin Explain the custmer the reasn fr the creatin f a Secured Area. Explain the ptin t migrate the Security Pack and perfrm migratin if asked by the custmer Security Pack Familiarizatin Explain the custmer hw t create "Users and Rles" in the System cntext f the Security Sftware. Explain that a user can have multiple rles accrding t custmers' requirements Assign rles t the users used during the familiarizatin 2100admini: administratr, backup peratr, validatin peratr, advanced peratr, unlck peratr 2100standard: standard peratr 2100advanced: advanced peratr, backup peratr, unlck peratr 2100validatin: validatin peratr Explain the rle f an Unlck Operatr and a Backup Operatr. Refer t the table f users and crrespnding rles in the kit guide. Explain the Verificatin cntext Explain the Imprt and Exprt functins (change t the crrect rle if necessary) Explain t custmers the archiving/de-archiving functins and the difference between archiving and exprting. Create a wrkflw using a Dem Template/ Methd Release the methd fr use and save it using a different name. Explain the methd develpment functin Run the methd using a dem instrument. Apprve r reject the results. Finalize the wrkflw and sent it t the next apprver. Repeat until the results are finalized.
