While mving Class 10 peratin is still being supprted. Nte: T change terminal peratin mde using the Thrane & Thrane IP handset will require sftware ver r higher. This functin is nly available when installing a SAILOR 3771 Alarm Panel FleetBradband Nte: This functin will require IP handset sftware ver r higher. SAILOR 500 / 250 / EXPLORER 727 / Autmatic VIP Handset User ID and Passwrd cnfiguratin. This is a feature which will autmatically prvide next free User Id and Passwrd ( ) when yet anther IP Handset is attached the Terminal /Switch (first IP Handset is default set t 0501). Fr End Users (frm the SAILOR FB): Dwnlad the file frm the Thrane & Thrane FleetBradband update server via the SAILOR web server. Please nte that if this is ver air transmissin, it will add cst t yur airtime bill. File Size is apprximately 8.0 MB!! Frm Web interface: 1. Make sure the Terminal is switched n and cnnect the Ethernet cable t yur PC. 2. Open yur web-brwser and pen the Web Interface f the Terminal at address 3. Select SETTINGS. 5 The fllwing will describe the prcedure fr INSTALLING ver n SAILOR 500/250/150 and EXPLORER 727/ Make sure the Terminal is switched n and cnnect the Ethernet cable t yur PC. 2. Open yur web-brwser and pen the Web Interface f the Terminal at address 3. Select SETTINGS. 4. Select Uplad. Bank: Danske Bank Cmp.reg.: VAT: DK Page 5 f 10

6 5. Select Brwse and lcate and select the SW file stred and extracted t bganx_bdu_ver_114.dl with the Explrer. 6. Chse Uplad and verify that the uplad is in prgress screensht - belw. 7. When the uplad is dne, the Terminal will rebt, select the address again and verify the sftware versin at DASHBOARD under PROPERTIES is listed as: 1.14 build 17 Pls. nte that the terminal might start an antenna sftware upgrade after the rebt. Make sure that the upgrade has ended befre discnnecting antenna r switching the system f. (All LED n terminal must be green and n warning in the event list) 8. End f update prcedure. 7 Appendix I. E727 supprt fr Class 1 peratin (Including BGAN X-Stream) in statinary mde If yur vehicle is statinary while using the EXPLORER 727, yu can select the X-Stream (n-thepause) mde. In X-Stream (n-the-pause) mde yu can take advantage f the BGAN X-Stream service and extend 256 kbps Streaming and ISDN cverage t the entire BGAN cverage area. T change the usage mde, d as fllws: 1. Select SETTINGS > Terminal usage mde. 2. Select the usage mde. Standard (n-the-mve): Nrmal EXPLORER 727 functin. X-Stream (n-the-pause): Extended functin fr use when the vehicle is statinary. In additin t the standard EXPLORER 727 functins it supprts BGAN X- Stream and extended cverage. 3. Under prfiles select the BGAN X-stream 4. Rebt system 5. Nte that the Start Bgan X-Stream buttn nw is available n the Dash Bard The terminal restarts in the selected usage mde. 9 Dcument number: Appendix II. CS Safety Vice n SAILOR terminals The Vice Distress (Nn-SOLAS) system is primarily used fr Distress and Urgency calls using the FleetBradband service. The SAILOR 3771 Alarm Panel is used tgether with a SAILOR 150, 250 r 500 FleetBradband system and an IP handset which must be designated fr Distress use. Make sure that the IP handset SIP prfile is setup t match the Vice distress handset number Nte: This requires IP handset sftware ver r higher.
