All infrmatin needed t cmplete the demnstratin scenari is lcated in the Tplgy and Servers menus f yur active demnstratin. Tplgy Menu. Click n any server in the tplgy and a ppup windw will appear with available server ptins. Servers Menu. Click n r next t any server name t display the available server ptins and credentials. Verify yur demnstratin has a status f Active under My Demnstratins n the My Dashbard page in the dclud UI. It may take up t 15 minutes fr yur demnstratin t becme active. 6. If yu are cnnected t the dem frm behind a ruter, please cntinue t the next step. If yu are cnnecting directly t the dem frm a stand-alne laptp r ther device, install and access Cisc AnyCnnect n yur laptp, using the AnyCnnect credentials in the Cisc dclud UI. [Shw Me Hw] 7. Access the demnstratin Wrkstatins 1 using yur lcal RDP prgram r Cisc dclud Remte Desktp Client [Shw Me Hw]. Fllw these steps if yu chse t enable either f the additinal language ptins. Frm Wrkstatin1, launch Internet Explrer. In the upper right crner chse Tls > Integratin > Languages. T add a language pack click Add and chse either German (Germany) r French (France) then click OK. Chse which f the installed languages t use by highlighting that language and clicking Mve Up until it is at the tp f the list. When deplying Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining all f the existing user infrmatin in Cisc Unified Cmmunicatin Manager is autmatically imprted using a feature called Reverse Sync. Fr new deplyments, Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining can easily deply cmmunicatin services t a new site using batch prvisining. Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining als ffers time saving self-service ptins fr end users called End User Self-Care. 5 2 When deplying Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining there is a cnvenient feature called Reverse Sync. This will imprt all f yur existing Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager users int Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining autmatically. T see this, we will lg int Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining and see that all f the existing users are ppulated in the applicatin, including the entire server infrastructure. Ding a search fr Anita Perez displays all f the relevant infrmatin imprted frm Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager. On Wrkstatin 1, access the Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining administratin page. Launch Internet Explrer. Frm the Cisc dclud hmepage, chse Cllabratin Admin Links > Cisc Prime Cllabratin 9.5. Lgin t Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining. Username: glbaladmin Passwrd: dclud12345! NOTE: If yu mistype the passwrd, yu will nt receive an errr message. The User Name and Passwrd fields will refresh. Ignre any site security errrs and cntinue. Chse Deply > Infrastructure Cnfiguratin. Click the arrw icn t chse a prcessr. This brings up a bx where yu can view each f the integrated Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins services under Cisc Prime Cllabratin. Chse Call Manager (cucm1-ciscunifiedcm). Click thrugh these prducts t shw synced values: Device Pl, Rute Partitin, Calling Search Space, H.323 Gateway, and Rute Pattern. T search fr Anita Perez, g t Deply > Search Subscribers. Enter Anita in the First Name field and click Search. Click n Perez, Anita t verify all f the user infrmatin has been successfully imprted. 6 3 Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining allws yu t deply phne, vic , and ther user services individually r thrugh the batch deplyment prcesses. This prcess is the same whether yu are adding new users r just adding services t an existing user. In this scenari, we will shw hw t create a New Order fr the end user Anita Perez. We will be adding Cisc Jabber fr iphne t her accunt thrugh the Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining administratin interface that is already pen frm the previus step. Frm the accunt page fr Anita Perez, click New Order frm the menu n the left. Click Cntinue t accept dclud-engg Service Area. Chse Phne Service and click Cntinue. Frm the drp dwn, chse Cisc Jabber fr iphne. In Device Descriptin, enter Anita Perez x6017. In the Device Name field, enter TCTAPEREZ. Frm the Phne Buttn Template drp dwn chse Standard Dual Mde fr iphne. Expand the plus sign [+] fr the Advanced Order Cnfiguratin menu. Frm the Calling Search Space drp dwn menu, chse dclud-css. Under the Advanced Order Cnfiguratin sectin, chse Prduct Specific Cnfiguratin Layut. Enter aperez in bth the Vic Username and Vic Message Stre Username fields. Enter in bth the Vic Server and Vic Message Stre fields and click Cntinue. Chse the unassigned Line[1] by clicking Nt Assigned. In the Line Type drp dwn chse Chsen Line and enter Anita Perez x6017 fr the Line Descriptin, Alerting Name, ACSII Alerting Name, Display (Internal Caller ID), and ASCII Display (Internal Caller ID) fields. Enter \ fr the Directry Number field, click Cntinue, then Cnfirm, and finally OK. The Subscriber Recrd screen appears shwing that the service is being prvisined. Click the Refresh icn [ ] t see the status f the prvisining. It will als appear in the Subscriber Recrd when cmplete. Prvisining may take up t 60 secnds t cmplete. Optinal: It is pssible t cnnect t this demnstratin using Cisc AnyCnnect with the sessin credentials n an Apple iphne [Shw Me Hw]. Once cnnected, yu can run Cisc Jabber fr Apple iphne [See Appendix B] using Anita Perez s accunt infrmatin. 7 4 Prvisining Cmmunicatin Services t a new site with Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining A Service Area is a lgical partitin within a dmain that defines the class f service fr calling, messaging and presence privileges fr varius subscriber types. Service Area is assciated with a single applicatin instance f each Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins type such as: - Unified Cmmunicatins Manager - Unity Cnnectin On Wrkstatin 1, add a new service area fr the Dallas site. NOTE: After a perid f inactivity, it may be necessary t lgin t CPC again. User Name: glbaladmin, Passwrd: dclud12345! Frm the Cisc Prime Cllabratin menu, chse Design > Set Up Deplyment > Service Areas. In the Service Area Cnfiguratin sectin, click the New Service Area link. On the Cnfigure a New Service Area page, enter the fllwing cnfiguratins settings: Service Area ID: dclud-dallas. Dmain: dclud. - IM and Presence Yu can als add directry number blcks t a service area. When a subscriber r user is assciated with a service area, a directry number is assigned frm this blck. Click Save. On the Edit Service Area page, keep the defaults and click Save. NOTE: D nt cnfigure the Call Prcessr, Unified Presence Prcessr r Unified Message Prcessr settings. These are dne later when yu uplad the infrastructure cnfiguratin file Cisc and/r its affiliates. 8 Infrastructure Batch Prvisining 5 Yu can use batch prvisining t prvisin cmplete infrastructure t a site with a single template. The infrastructure template file cntains sitespecific cnfiguratin infrmatin such as Device Pl, Regin, Date & Time Grup, CM grup, Rute Partitin, CSS, and Hunt Pilt. On Wrkstatin 1, deply site cnfiguratin fr the Dallas Site. Frm the Cisc Prime Cllabratin menu, chse Deply > Batch Prvisining. Click the Create a New Prject buttn [ ]. In the Prject Name field, enter Dallas. Click Create. In the Batch Prject Actins sectin, click the Uplad a Batch Actin File link. Next t the File t Uplad field, click Brwse t chse the template file. G t the Desktp\CPC-Templates directry. Chse CPC- Infra-Dallas.txt and click Open. Click Uplad. Click the Refresh buttn [ ] t see the status f the file uplad. When the uplad is cmplete, click NOW t uplad the data t Cisc Prime Cllabratin. Click Yes t cnfirm. Click the Refresh buttn [ ] t see the status f the uplad. 9 6 Cnfigure site settings fr additinal sites. On Wrkstatin 1, cnfigure the site settings fr the dclud-dallas Service Area. Frm the Cisc Prime Cllabratin menu, chse Design > Set Up Deplyment > Service Areas. On the Cnfigure a Service Area Cnfiguratin page, click View Service Area. Click dclud-dallas in the ServiceArea ID table. Click Update. Enter the fllwing settings in the Call Prcessr Settings sectin. NOTE: If a field is nt listed belw, it des nt need t be mdified. In the Name field, chse cucm1-ciscunifiedcm. In the Phne Prtcl field, chse SIP. In the Calling Search Space (Phne) field, chse CPC-Dallas-CSS. In the Call Search Space (Line) field, chse CPC- Dallas-CSS. In the Lcatin field, chse Hub_Nne. In the Rute Partitin field, chse CPC-Dallas-PT. In the Device Pl field, chse CPC-Dallas-DP. In the Subscriber Template withut TTS Enabled field, chse vic usertemplate. In the Subscriber CS with TTS Enabled field, chse PM_CSwithTTS. In the Subscriber CS withut TTS Enabled field, chse Vice Mail User COS. In the Subscriber Rles field, chse Emplyee. In the Directry Number Blck(s), chse the new page icn. 11 What are Prvisining Attributes? 8 Prvisining attributes are cnfiguratin settings that are applied t rder services at the time f activatin. The System Administratr can assign and cnfigure prvisining attributes thrughut the different levels f the system such as: Dmain Service area Subscriber The time f rder entry VALUE PROPOSITION: UC applicatin knwledge is nt required. Help desk users and lwer level administratrs can rder phnes and vic using simple wizards. Precnfigured attributes fr the services prvides a cnsistent errr free deplyment f services fr users. Increases custmer satisfactin when services are deplyed quickly and easily within minutes instead f hurs. On Wrkstatin 1, mdify the phne prvisining attributes. Frm the Cisc Prime Cllabratin menu, chse Design > Set Up Deplyment > Service Areas. Click View Service Area. Click dclud-dallas. Click Edit Prvisining Attributes. On the Prvisining Attribute Management page, click n the plus symbl (+) beside Phne and mdify the attributes. Yu can mdify any f the attributes; hwever, suggested values t mdify fr this demnstratin are listed belw. T edit an attribute s infrmatin, click the Edit icn next t the attribute and make the desired changes. Click Update after yu mdify each prperty. T save time, use Ctrl + F t search and lcate each f the prperties t edit. 12 Single User Interface 9 Previusly, an administratr wuld have t cnfigure users with services, by lgging in t the native interface f Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager, Unity Cnnectin and IM & Presence Servers. Nw, with Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining, administratrs can prvisin these services thrugh a single user interface. VALUE PROPOSITION: Cisc Prime Cllabratin reduces the prbability f duplicate entry errrs and reduces the ttal prvisining time. On Wrkstatin 1, edit the template file. Open Excel frm the Start menu. Click File > Open and chse Desktp\CPC-Templates\User Template-Dallas.txt. The file becmes visible by changing the File Open type t All Files. Accept the defaults fr the text imprt wizard by clicking Finish. Edit the MAC Address clumn. Replace the existing values with the MAC addresses fr the phnes at yur lcatin. The supprted phne types are 9951 and Save and clse the User Template-Dallas.txt file. Yu may be prmpted several times abut cmpatibility issues when saving the file. 13 10 Use templates t uplad a user grup t Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining. This uplad will prvide users with a specified phne, line (extensin), presence, and Jabber access. After staging the data fr uplading t Unified Cmmunicatins applicatins, it can be exprted t Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager, Unity Cnnectin and Presence servers. Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining prvisins users, phne, vice mail, and Jabber n the respective Unified Cmmunicatins applicatins. On Wrkstatin 1, uplad users t the Dallas Site. Frm the Cisc Prime Cllabratin menu, chse Deply > Batch Prvisining. Click the Create a New Prject buttn [ ]. In the Prject Name field, enter Dallas Users. Click Create. In the Batch Prject Actins sectin, click the Uplad a Batch Actin File link. Next t the File t Uplad field, click Brwse t chse the template file. G t the Desktp\CPC-Templates\ directry. Chse User Template-Dallas.txt and click Open. Click Uplad t add user prfile data t the prvisining manager. Click the Refresh buttn [ ] t see the file uplad status. The Batch Prject Actins table displays the uplad status and a summary f the data frm the CSV file. Click View t see the status details. When staging is cmplete, click NOW in the Prject Schedule sectin t uplad this data. Click Yes t cnfirm. Click the Refresh buttn [ ] t see the prvisining status. The Batch Prject Actins view displays the status f the data being cnfigured. Click View t see the status details. On Wrkstatin 1, access the Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager administratin page: Launch Internet Explrer. Frm the Cisc dclud hmepage, chse Cllabratin Admin Links > Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager. Lgin t Cisc Unified Cmmunicatins Manager. Username: administratr Passwrd: C1sc12345 Frm the menu, chse Device > Phne. Click Find. Dallas users are prvisined with a 9971 phne, Client Services Framewrk (Jabber), and vic . If yu fllwed all f these steps successfully and the phnes did nt prvisin it may be necessary t reset the security settings n each phne. [Shw Me Hw] On each phne chse Administrative Settings > Reset Settings > Security Settings This may take up t 3 minutes fr the phnes t reset and register. User Self-Care Optin End User Self-Care allws a user t access the Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining selfservice prtal and prvisin their device independently as well as change their accunt details and subscriptins, with n administratin interactin required. On Wrkstatin 1, cnfigure vic fr Charles Hlland and make him a Self-Care User. Lg int the Cisc Prime Cllabratin 9.5 administratin page, chse Deply > Subscriber Management > Search Subscribers. Enter Charles in the First Name field and click Search. Click n Hlland, Charles t view the accunt details. Click the icn in frnt f Charles Hlland under Subscriber Recrd Optins. T allw users t perfrm Self-Care functins the administratr must first enable this in the user accunt screen in the Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining administratr page. Click the bx next t Self-Care and then click Update. Click Lgut. Lgin t Cisc Prime Cllabratin Prvisining. Username: chlland Passwrd: C1sc12345 Explre the Phne Settings, Line Settings, and User Settings sectins, viewing the ptins that yu can edit. Change user devices by clicking the icns n the lwer left. Click Line Settings. On the Call Frward > Internal tab, fr each Phne State, chse Vic in the actin field. Click Save. On the External tab, fr each Phne State, chse Vic in the actin field. Click Save. Clse the Cisc Prime Telephne Self-Care windw. Using IP Phnes 9951 and 9971, test vice path and vice mail. Using Charles Hlland s 9971, call Jim Li at extensin Answer Jim s phne and verify that the audi path between the tw phnes is established. Using Jim Li s 9951, call Charles Hlland at extensin D nt answer the call. Allw the call t rll ver t vic . Leave a vice message. The Message Waiting Indicatr light n Charles phne is nw Red. The dashbard appears as anther tab n the hme page and is blank when created. We will nw add custmized cntent t ur new dashbard.
