16 Opacity (clear cat) It is difficult t predict the TSR fr a cating withut knwing its applicatin and use. 16

17 Blending White and Black Pigments An additin f just 0.1w% PBk.7 results in a TSR value f almst -40% (crrespnding t +16 C in surface temperature) 17

18 Cntaminatin Even small amunts f nn NIR-reflecting clrants t shade a batch can have drastic effects n TSR. 18

19 Cnclusins Nvapint D-803 cntaining a functinal NIR reflective pigment PBr.29 frm has a higher TSR value but Black intensity is lwer. Nvapint D-803 has a much lwer surface temperature -11 C in cmparisn t a similar cating cntaining (PBk.7 and PBk.11). Nvapint D-803 is beneficial fr TSR even fr light shades. The paint type, quality and whiteness level impact the TSR value. A cating film can be visually hiding, BUT this des nt mean that it is NIR hiding as well. Even small amunts f PBk.7 in a shade r clrant has drastic effects n TSR 19
