1 MindSphere MindAccess User Data Sheet MindAccess User prvides yu with an Accunt in rder t access the MindSphere Platfrm. This allws yu t cnfigure Assets and Users, access Applicatins and stre data. Such Applicatins may be subject t additinal terms and cnditins. Fr yur data imprt, nt the MindSphere Platfrm, it is necessary t install and cnfigure a MindCnnect prduct frm Siemens (e.g. MindCnnect Nan) r a third party custm agent fr cnnectin t MindSphere in accrdance with the applicable instructins. Such MindCnnect prducts and custm agents, including any sftware, have t be kept up-t-date at all times. If an earlier versin is n lnger supprted, yu have t upgrade t a current apprved versin. We reserve the right t disallw the cnnectin f MindCnnect prducts r custm agents with utdated r therwise ptentially unstable r unsecure cmpnents t MindSphere. Definitins Asset Cre Cmpnent Additinal definitins An Asset is a lgical representatin f a thing which can be a machine r an autmatin system with ne r multiple autmatin units (e.g. PLC) r even a factry site. Yu define an Asset with the Asset Cnfiguratin as part f the IT Data Mdeler applicatin (see chapter Asset Cnfiguratin ). Cre Cmpnents are Applicatins that are accessible t any MindSphere custmer by default (e.g. FleetManager). They may be priced separately and may cme with Specific Terms. Yu can access the Service via the fllwing URL: name>. Fr every User f any Service r Applicatin, an individual lgin is required. Every User will receive an with its persnalized access credentials. Fleet Manager (separate Data Sheet with respective price infrmatin) The MindApp Manage MyMachine may be made available with MindAccess User upn respective rder. A separate Data Sheet with respective price infrmatin is available. Fr the cnfiguratin f yur systems n the MindSphere Launchpad, tw tls are available t yu by default: MindSphere IT Data Mdeler (including User Management, Custmer Management and Asset Management) MindSphere Applicatin Manager User Management (as part f IT Data Mdeler) General With the User Management, an Admin can create, edit and delete lgins fr Users in its wn rganizatin. All defined Users f the Accunt can see all Assets f this Accunt. User Management is the tl t manage Users rights and rles. A User fr example can have the rle f an Admin as well. User Grups Admin: The Admin has full rights t cnfigure the Service and t nbard MindCnnect prducts, see chapter Asset Cnfiguratin ). Asset Cnfiguratin (as part f IT Data Mdeler) User: The User can nly change basic settings fr an Asset, e.g. lcatin and netwrk settings. The User can als nbard MindCnnect prducts. The User can see all Assets under this Accunt. General The Asset Cnfiguratin tl can be used t manage yur Assets and t nbard MindCnnect prducts t the MindSphere Platfrm. Assign Assets t Users: Yu can assign Assets t yur Users. Only Assets which are assigned t an User can be accessed by the Users. If yu grant End Custmers access t yur Accunt, yu have t cmply with the applicable SP Terms. Fees and MindSphere Units Fees MindAccess User Fee MindSphere Units MindSphere Data Mdel Fee The fees applicable fr MindAccess User cnsist f: MindAccess User Fee (fixed fee plus fee fr additinal Users) MindSphere Data Mdel Fee (depending n the Asset cnfiguratin f the Service. Such fee is calculated based n MindSphere Units. In relatin t Applicatins, additinal fees may apply in accrdance with the terms and cnditins gverning the access t such Applicatins. Fr MindAccess User, a fixed mnthly fee set frth in the Order Frm applies. Included in this fee are 50 Users (see chapters User Management and Custmer Management ). Fr every additinal User (see chapter User Management and Custmer Management ) that yu define and that is nt already included in the Service as set ut in the applicable Order Frm, 30 MindSphere Units are cunted fr a full mnth, irrespective f the number f days fr which a User is defined. T the extent fees are calculated based n MindSphere Units, the fllwing applies: MindSphere Units are a measuring tl designed t help yu keep track f yur usage and the applicable amunt f fees. MindSphere Units are calculated, based n yur cnfiguratins under yur Accunt. The amunt f MindSphere Units depends n the number f Users that yu define and the cnfiguratin f yur data mdel. MindSphere Units are accumulated ver the mnth f usage, and any change f the cnfiguratin is tracked n a per minute basis and reflected in the calculatin f MindSphere Units. A MindSphere Unit has the value assigned t it in the Order Frm. Initial nbarding f Assets will immediately result in csts which will be charged t yu. The fees are calculated based n the data mdel created with the Asset Cnfiguratin tl. The amunt f fees varies depending n different July 2017 Unrestricted Page 4

5 factrs, including the amunt and type f variables, the reading cycles, and the duratin f data strage. T the extent that fees are based n MindSphere Units, the MindSphere Units applicable t the data mdel that yu created are shwn in the dialg Asset Aspects under Asset Cnfiguratin. Invicing The fixed MindAccess User Fee is inviced mnthly in advance and is nt refundable. The fee fr additinal User and the MindSphere Data Mdel Fee are inviced mnthly in arrears, based n the calculatin f the underlying usage. Service Levels and Availability Availability With respect t MindAccess User, it is ur gal t prvide at least 99% System Availability ver every calendar mnth. System Availability shall mean the percentage f ttal time during which the access t MindAccess User is available t yu at the WAN interface f the infrastructure used by us, fr the prvisin f Services during a calendar mnth. Fr the purpse f calculating the System Availability, Excluded Dwntimes shall be cnsidered as available. Excluded Dwntimes shall mean Planned dwntimes: Dwntime fr planned maintenance, fr which we will ntify yu at least ne day in advance, e.g. via the Web Interface, n MindSphere, r by ; and Unplanned dwntimes: (i) Emergency, when a temprary discntinuance f the Service and/r the MindSphere Platfrm is necessary t safeguard the stability r integrity f the MindSphere Platfrm r system; and (ii) An interruptin f the Service and/r the MindSphere Platfrm caused by circumstances beynd ur reasnable cntrl. Supprt Free Online Supprt Siemens prvides supprt free f charge n the MindSphere web prtal ( in particular infrmatin and dwnlads frm Siemens fr the MindSphere Services. This includes, fr example: The mst imprtant and mst frequently asked questins frm the technical supprt area (FAQs) Latest MindSphere Services infrmatin Technical data, CAx data and cmpatibility infrmatin (if available) Dwnladable updates/upgrades, service packs and supprt tls (mstly free f charge) Manuals and perating instructins fr July 2017 Unrestricted Page 5

6 dwnlading Apprvals and certificates Such nline supprt is subject t the terms and cnditins f use f the Internet platfrm and frum: ml ules MindSphere Helpdesk Siemens is available t the custmer fr MindSphere Services-related queries (preferably via the Internet in the frm f a supprt request) cncerning functins and handling f the MindSphere Services. Usual lcal wrking hurs in Germany are Mnday thrugh Friday, 8am t 5pm, excluding natinal and lcal hlidays. Supprt is prvided by phne r . Unless explicitly stated therwise, the supprt will be prvided in the frm f remte access. Supprt is available fr ur custmers fr handling requests up t ne hur per request and fr incident inquiries, free f charge. The data transmissin between the brwser f the User and MindSphere is SSL/TLS encrypted. In rder t prtect plants, systems, machines and netwrks against cyber threats, it is necessary that yu implement and cntinuusly maintain a hlistic, state-f-the-art industrial security cncept. The Services are nt intended fr the prcessing f Time Series Data that include persnal data, unless yu r the respective authrized entities prvide fr apprpriate technical and rganizatinal measures at yur cst and expense.
