Currently RETAS only reflects trouble resolution when the ticket has closed. Covad is requesting that RETAS include the real time trouble ticket status feature. Business Narrative: Provide Example That Justifies Change: Currently Covad must call the RCMC to obtain real time status on open trouble tickets. The RCMC agent looks the information up and verbally provides the update to Covad. This consumes significant resources at Covad and Verizon. Providing the requested information in RETAS would eliminate these calls. Reason: Covad will be able to obtain real time updates on TTs on-line without having to place customers on hold while a phone call in made to the RCMC.
