3 ATS Release Ntes This dcument prvides a brief explanatin f what was fixed and implemented with this release f Advanced Title Search Release Date: January 21, 2016 Pst-Installatin Requirements On the day f the release, it is mandatry that yu delete Temprary Internet Files and Histry prir t lgging int ATS. Failure t perfrm this task will cause functinality issues within ATS, resulting in a wrk-stppage situatin. Deleting Temprary Internet Files and Histry (MS Article ID: ) The Temprary Internet Files (r cache) flder cntains web page cntent that is stred n yur hard disk fr quick viewing. This cache permits Internet r MSN Explrer t dwnlad nly the cntent that has changed since yu last viewed a web page instead f dwnlading all the cntent fr the page every time it is displayed. Administratrs can custmize Temprary Internet File settings t prevent mdificatins. Cntact yur System Administratr if yu cannt access the Internet Optins dialg bx r the General tab. Using Internet Explrer Steps 1. With Internet Explrer pen, click the Tls icn. 2. Select Internet Optins. The Internet Prperties dialg bx displays. 3. On the General tab, lcate Brwsing histry and click thedelete buttn. The Delete Brwsing Histry dialg bx displays. 4. Select Temprary Internet Files. 5. Select Delete. 6. When cmplete, click OK. Using Chrme If yu are using Chrme t access ATS, cmplete the fllwing steps t deleted Temprary Internet files and histry, Steps 1. With Chrme pen, click the Custmize and Cntrl Ggle Chrme drp-dwn list. 2. Chse Histry frm the drp-dwn list. 3. Click Clear brwsing data. 4. Frm the Clear brwsing data pp-up, be sure t select the beginning f time, check Brwsing histry and Cached images and files. Click Clear brwsing data t cmplete. 4 Using Firefx If yu are using Firefx t access ATS, cmplete the fllwing steps t delete Temprary Internet Files and Histry n the day f the release. Steps 1. With the Firefx brwser pen, click the drp-dwn menu, mve yur cursr ver Histry and select Clear Recent Histry; r Click Tls frm the tlbar and select Clear Recent Histry. 2. Frm the Time range t clear drp-dwn, select Everything. 3. Select nly Brwsing & Dwnlad Histry and Cache. 4. Click Clear Nw. 5. When the items are cleared, clse all Firefx brwsers, then repen Firefx. Nte Be patient when perfrming this task, if the Temprary Internet Files flder cntains a significant amunt f web page cntent, then this prcess may take several minutes t cmplete. 5 Bkmarks and Shrtcuts fr ATS We want t take a minute t remind all ATS users that nly shuld be used t access ATS. If yu have any ther bkmarks r shrtcuts fr ATS we ask that delete them frm yur bkmarks\shrtcuts s that nly the link abve is used. If yu need assistance in making sure yu have the crrect bkmark\shrtcut fr ATS please call Custmer Care at , r at custmercare@stewart.cm. Nte Lgging int ATS via any ther means besides will bypass the lad balancer and culd impact yur ability t lg int ATS, as well as the lad fr the ATS servers. Using nly this link will ensure yu are directed nly t functining servers as well as balance the number f users n each server. This will help t keep the server speeds functining at ptimal speeds. 6 Enhancements The fllwing items were added t Advanced Title Search : ALL Cmmunities A new srting feature has been implemented, that is specific t the Abstractr, fr the dcument rder n the TSRI, and can be cnfigured by the supprt team thrugh a ServiceNw ticket request. There is nw a link in the TSD t merge all the Supprt Dcuments that are als fund in the.zip, int a single PDF. Made further adjustments t imprve the quality and accuracy f the OCR features in ATS. Thse imprvements include: Full dates being parsed fr references Updating ur dev s Internal Tls "date" and "year" parsing fr Instrument/Bk-Page Grantrs are nw extracted by OCR in Cuyahga (OH) Vesting infrmatin frm the Austin Data (ADI) data surce (TX) Cmmunicatin between ATS and Stewart Starter Files (SSF) has been enhanced and the image srting rder, used in the mment f TSR Creatin, has been updated. When the TSR ntificatin mail is received, after cmpleting the file, yu can nw lcate the TSR Images (pdf) link cpy and paste the link frm that t anther , such as crrespndence t the agent. 7 ST CA Cmmunity ATS nw displays the Bk and Page, rather than the Instrument number, n the Chain f Title. ST CO Cmmunity The cde PL1 was updated t pull and list the Plat infrmatin withut the Receptin Number. There were Cde updates in Clrad as fllwed: Fr the categry and subcategry f COURT/Judgment, tw cdes were previusly attached; COJUDR06 and J4. Nw the J4 cde has been remved frm default and the COJUDR06 cde autmatically fills in the recrding infrmatin fr the dcument. Fr the categry and subcategry LIEN/Lis Pendens, tw cdes were previusly attached; COLISR06 and LPN1. Nw the LPN1 cde has been remved frm default and the COLISR06 cde autmatically fills in the recrding infrmatin fr the dcument. Fr categry, FEDERAL TAX LIENS, the cde COFTLR04 is nw the default. Fr the PL1 cde, the name f the plat will autmatically be filled frm the data frm the dcument type field. MORTGAGE/Exceptin cde verbiage has been crrected fr cmmitments with the DT shwn as an exceptin. Added the COMINX22 cde. Advanced Title Search Release Ntes January

9 Fixes The fllwing items were crrected in Advanced Title Search : All Cmmunities Reslved a Firefx (Mzilla) brwser issue in ATS where a new tab was pening when viewing.pdf and.tiff images. Reslved an issue during the Parent Site search where any dcuments that already exist n the TSRI are nw prperly labelled as Saved. Reslved an issue when uplading a new Tax dcument, and anther Tax dcument had been already saved n the TSRI, was failing and presenting the message, "Please enter a Parcel/dctype/year that des nt exist in TSRIndex". Reslved an issue where a cde wuld nt appear in the AddCde drp dwn menu, if the searchable descriptin cntained an apstrphe ( ). Reslved an issue where dcuments were being duplicated n the Title Search Reprt (TSR) after the file was cmpleted when the abstractrs were purpsefully mving the cdes attached t thse dcuments. ST CA Cmmunity Reslved an issue during the OCR prtin f the Autmatic Search where instruments wuld be imprperly assigned a reference number causing them t be placed ut f rder fr searches pertaining t Orange Cunty. Reslved an issue where n legal search was perfrmed during the Autmatic Search frm Prperty Insight (PI) in Tulare Cunty. Reslved an issue where the dcuments were nt in the rder that had been specified fr the abstractr in My ATS, n the TSRI. Reslved an issue where the incrrect Legal Descriptin was extracted frm the TitlePint Tax (TaxPI) Parent Site and used in the Autmatic Search in Prperty Insight (PI). ST FL Cmmunity Reslved an issue where the All images.zip file cntained mre dcuments than had been checked n the TSRI. Reslved an issue, when using the Parent Site fr the Marin Cunty tax site (TR), where the navigatin links Next and Previus wuld nt respnd t being clicked and it was impssible t mve t anther page f results. 10 Reslved and issue where n intermediate results were fund frm the Parent Site Tax Site (TR) in fr the cunties f Baker, Franklin, Gulf and Jacksn. Reslved an issue in the Palm Beach Cunty Tax site (TR) where the Dcument Index was nt displayed prperly. Reslved an issue when attempting t save All Dcuments frm the DataTrace Gateway (DG) Parent Site and nly a single dcument wuld be saved. Reslved an issue while searching the Parent Site fr Hendry Cunty Taxes (TR), where the Amunt Due was being displayed inaccurately. Reslved an issue while searching the Parent Site fr Martin Cunty Taxes (TR), where the Amunt Due was being displayed inaccurately. Reslved an issue where dcuments were nt being saved frm the Okeechbee Cunty Tax site (TR). Reslved an issue in the Parent Site fr ATI (ATIDS) fr Pinellas Cunty where select instances f Subdivided Searches by Plat bk and page wuld prduce the errr: Errr when prcessing respnse. ST MO Cmmunity Reslved an issue where the Autmatic Search did nt perfrm a search fr the Bk & Page instruments frm CreLgic (PRI). ST OH Cmmunity Reslved a few issues n the Lrain Cunty Tax site (TR): The message "This file is saved in TSR Index!" was missing frm details page when a dcument was already saved. The intermediate results page was displayed imprperly and smetimes generated errrs. Reslved an issue n the Summit Cunty Tax site (TR) where the navigatin links, Previus and Next, were nt being displayed prperly. Reslved an issue where the Cst, Dcket, Events, parties, Requirements, Service infrmatin was missing frm the Dcument index that came frm the Cuyahga Cunty Prbate Curt site (PR). ST TN Cmmunity Reslved an issue fr the Davidsn Cunty Register s Office (RO), where certain dcuments culd nt be mved frm TSRI Extended t the TSRI. Advanced Title Search Release Ntes January

Fr the categry and subcategry f MISCELLANEOUS/Renewal & Extensin, the previus default cde f TXL19 was remved.
