Wiring the Accent Light to the Wll Rheostt Required t Point of Instlltion The wiring for the ccent light is est instlled prior to drywll instlltion round the fireplce. All electricl connections must e mde y qulified instller nd must meet ll locl codes. Do not route the wires over the top of the fireplce. Attch the hot nd common wire from the ccent light switched power supply to the lck nd white wire leding from the molex connector. Attch the ground wire to the grounding t on the receptcle. 2 Instlltion of Accent Light Inside Fireplce Instll the ccent light prior to instlling the firecks or logs. 1 Remove the emer try nd urner try cover following the directions elow. Loosen the screw nd remove the clip locted on the fireox ceiling on the front left side. Remove the emer try nd the urner try cover. Pge 2 of 7 9/19/07 Trvis Industries, Inc.

3 2 Remove the fireox floor following the directions elow. Remove the four screws tht secure the fireox floor. Tilt the front of the fireox floor upwrds slide it forwrd, nd remove. NOTE: These ts insert into the slots on the ck of the fireox floor. NOTE: The ir shutter inserts through this slot. When re-ttching the floor, position the ir shutter so it inserts through the slot. 4 3 Attch the ccent light ssemly to the fireox floor following the directions elow. Remove the cover plte nd two screws on the fireox floor. The cover plte my e discrded (keep the screws for ccent light ttchment). Insert the wiring hrness on the ccent light through the fireox floor s shown. Attch the ccent lights nd cover plte to the fireox floor. After the light ssemlies re ttched, end the light ck so it is stnding verticl nd tighten the fsteners on the ssemly. 5 NOTE: if the unit is lredy instlled, you my leve the urner nd urner try in plce. Simply remove the cover plte (nd gsket) nd insert the wiring hrness through the hole exposed y the cover plte removl. Remove the control cover on the left side of the fireplce nd connect the molex connectors together. 4 Remove the urner. Remove the four screws securing the urner to the fireox floor. Slide the urner to the right nd up to remove. 5 Remove the urner try nd cover plte. The urner try is held in plce with 9 screws (7 on the fireox wll, 2 on the pilot ssemly). Remove the urner try nd plce it on the fireox floor. The gs control vlve nd receiver module re found on the ck side of this plte. Remove nd discrd this cover plte. Keep the screws nd gsket. 6 6 Instll the ccent light wiring hrness to the urner try plte following the directions elow. Insert the wire hrness through the gsket, nd ccess hole in the urner try plte. Attch the molex connecter on the wiring hrness to the connector on the fireplce. Secure the cover plte on the wiring hrness (with gsket) to the urner try plte. NOTE: If the gsket does not fit over the hrness esily, you my wish to cut it to llow it to slide over the wiring nd strin relief. 7 Re-ttch the urner try. Position the wires leding to the ccent lights on the ck edge of the fireplce floor. Replce the urner, left cover plte, nd fireox floor, tking cre to prevent dmge to the ccent light wires. Instll the light uls, mking sure you do not touch the uls (oil or other mrks left on the ul my led to pre-mture ul filure). 8 Restore the fireox to the correct configurtion (replce the emer try, etc.). 7 Accent Light Opertion OFF LOW HIGH Turn the dil ll the wy counter-clockwise until it clicks off. Turn the dil 180 clockwise until the light egins to glow. The high position is ll the wy clockwise.
