To open the option box Mind the mesurement guidelines: Mximum distnce between the option box nd control box EKCB07CAV m 0 0 Mind the following spcing instlltion guidelines: (mm) WARNING The option box is designed to be wll-mounted in indoor loctions only. Mke sure the instlltion surfce is flt nd verticl noncombustible wll. The screws re delivered with toothed lock wshers. ALWAYS use toothed lock wshers, lso when the screws need to be replced. Filure to follow this wrning my result in electric shock. The option box is designed to operte in mbient tempertures rnging from ~ C. Do NOT remove the plugs from the front plte of the option box.. Put the screws in the top plugs nd hng the box on the screws. Put the screws in the bottom plugs. 6 Fix the screws firmly. Instlltion mnul

4 Instlltion. Connecting the electricl wiring DANGER: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION WARNING ALWAYS use multicore cble for power supply cbles..... Connect the connectors from the ccessory bg to XA on AP of both the control box nd the option box PCB. Connect the connectors by wy of field-supplied cble. b To connect the electricl wiring on the option box Mke sure the low voltge wiring is locted on the right. Route it through the intke hole nd fsten it with cble ties: XA XA Insert the wiring from the bottom of the option box. To connect the interconnection cble between option box nd control box b c b c.. b Connectors (ccessory) Interconnection cble (field supply) To connect the electricl meters INFORMATION Low voltge wiring High voltge wiring Min power supply In cse of n electricl meter with trnsistor output, check the polrity. The positive polrity MUST be connected to XM/7 nd XM/9; the negtive polrity to XM/8 nd XM/0. NOTICE The distnce between the high voltge nd low voltge cbles should be t lest mm. Connect the electricl meters cble to the pproprite terminls s shown in the illustrtion below. XM.. To connect the option box power supply Connect option box terminl XM to control box terminl XM. XM XM XM XM XM GND L N Fix the cble with cble ties to the cble tie mountings to ensure strin relief nd to mke sure tht it does NOT come in contct with shrp edges.
