When this field is Invalid, information is missing, or the resilient pair rules are no longer valid because of a change in the device configuration (such as removing a card). Mod State The Modification State of the resilient pair. Set the Under Mod field to a value of Under-Mod before changing the configuration of a pair. Device Management Page 35 3Com LinkSwitch 1100/3300

36 Application View The changes are not applied until the Mrm Resilience view s Mod State shows the value of Stable. Pair Action This is used to change the state of the resilient pair. Setting a value of Create configures the pair using the definitions in the entry. Setting Delete removes the entry from the table and terminates operation of resilience on the port pair. The TogglePort setting swaps the currently active port with the standby port only if the standby port status is OK. Pair Enable Enable or disable both ports of the resilient pair. Table 11: Port State Failed MRM Resilience Port States Indicates Loss of signal to the port; this port cannot be active. Supported Applications of any of the resilient links or ports, but empties the table so that no resilient links are configured. Add Entry Opens the Add Resilience Table Entry view, described below. Add Resilience Table Entry View You can add a resilient pair entry to the Mrm Resilience table with the fields in this view. Instance Enter the instance OID for the new resilient pair. Under Mod Selecting the value Under-Mod creates a blank entry in the Mrm Resilience Table. The other possible value, Unknown, is the default. In the Mrm Resilience table, double-click the new entry that displays and enter a definition for the resilient pair. OK OKandActive This port is capable of carrying traffic but is currently only a backup link. This port is OK and active. Standby Map Table Opens the MRM Resilience Standby Table, as described in following subsection. Flush Table The default for this toggle is NoFlush. Flushing the Mrm Resilience Table does not affect the state MRM Resilience Standby Table Access: From the Mrm Resilience view, click the Standby Map Table button.
