3 B. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CUSTOMIZATION AND USE OF MATERIALS Prnt/Drect Mal/Bllboard: After downloadng the hgh resoluton, edtable PDF fle from the webste, follow the steps below for edtng: 1. Open fle n Adobe Acrobat. 2. If you have Acrobat 11 or newer, you can smply clck on Edt Text & Images on the top tool bar (see Edtng PDFs n Acrobat 11 ) for screenshot. a. To edt text, make sure Edt Text & Images s selected. Then, smply clck on the placeholder textbox. Delete placeholder text and type n correct copy for hosptal name, URL, phone number, etc. If you accdently delete the text box, you can clck on Add Text to nsert a new one. b. To delete yellow boxes behnd text, smply select the box and delete. c. To nsert mages (logo/qr Code), clck on Add Image. Move and resze to ft. Then delete yellow placeholder boxes. d. For rsk assessment verson, see separate QR code generaton nstructons. e. If usng the de cut drect mal opton for the Bowl and Chan campagn, ensure the de cut gude s sent to prnter along wth fnal art fle. 3. If you have Acrobat 10/Pro, you wll need to clck on TOOLS and then the Content tab. a. To edt text, clck Add or Edt Text Box, select the text box and delete. Then clck on Add or Edt Text Box agan to nsert new text box. Type n correct text for hosptal name, URL, phone number, etc. Resze/change font style as needed. (Ths s not the yellow box but the placeholder that contans the text Place or Insert here. Please see letter b for nstructons on how to delete the yellow box behnd the text). b. To delete yellow placeholder boxes, clck on Edt Object, from the toolbox on the rght, select box and delete. c. To add mages (logo or QR code), clck on Edt Object. Rght clck (or control clck for Macs) on the yellow placeholder box and select Place Image. Select the mage from your computer and resze to ft nto space. Then delete the yellow placeholder box. d. For the rsk assessment verson, see separate QR code generaton nstructons. Onlne Banner Ads: Download the JPEG fles from the AMS webste. To add the logo, you wll need to open the fle n an edtng software (e.g. Photoshop). The fnal fles used for placement wll need to be saved as JPEGs.

4 Rado: You can download one of two pre-recorded rado spots (mp3 format) from the AMS webste that allow for ether fve or 10 seconds of customzaton. You wll then need to choose one of the customzaton optons provded and have t recorded at a local rado staton or producton company. You wll need to supply the pre-recorded fles from AMS to the staton or producton company so they can mx the two audo fles together. You may select your own background musc. Placement/Prntng: You are responsble for coordnatng all meda placements for prnt, rado, bllboard and banner ads. You wll also need to arrange for your own drect mal prntng, dstrbuton lst and malng servces.
