1 238 ALUFIX SOFTWARE Alufx Expert D Desgn Software #85344 Alufx Expert software makes automatc desgns for fxtures wth correspondng partlsts. You choose the system and defne clampng ponts. The software calculates on the bass of ths nformaton complete solutons and varatons of a fxture. Smply select the desred Alufx system, the basc type of buld (frame or plate), the grd sze and the poston and functon of clampng ponts. On the bass of ths nput the software calculates complete solutons and varatons. For checkng purposes and measurng off of surface vectors addtonal part data n all establshed formats can be mported. Pctures show some varatons, whch have been calculated by the software.the clearly structured, self-explanng software s easy to learn. Two separate but complementng help functons (Tool tps and Operaton Manual) support users at all tmes.the desgn data s exported n ether IGES, STL or VRML format (.e. for offlne programmng of coordnate measurng machnes), or can be transferred wth a macro and the correspondng parts lbrary n Cata V4/V5, Ungraphcs or Autocad. The part s postoned n car lne usng Alufx 25. The software can export parts lsts (see left), pctures (JPEG), data (IGES, STL, VRML) or CAD data (Cata, Ungraphcs). For drect mport of surface data a lcense s requred for the correspondng format. Indvdual tranng s avalable n house or t can take place on customer s premses under agreement aganst surcharge

Even grd plates as shown left, are optonally used for clampng. Dfferent colourng shows the user n whch modus the software currently s (defnton/presentaton). Usng Alufx standard elements fxtures can be bult n a fracton of the tme requred prevously. By desgnng the fxture on-screen expensve dletmes of the measurng machne are avoded. The prncple: at the CAD workplace the user desgns a desred fxture for workpece machnng or measurng usng Alufx components. To do so he can use all parts avalable n the Fxmes lbrary.. 4 ALUFIX SOFTWARE 241 Assembly smulaton Macro programme from CATIA V5, #98098 CATIA V5 module assembly smulator works complementary to Expert software 2011 and Fxmes parts lbrares. To smplfy assembly ths module shows the user step by step how and n whch sequence sngle Alufx components are put together n an optmal way after regstraton Frst of all the macro nvestgates all characters and postons of components, whch are avalable for a connecton. On the bass of ths nformaton connecton elements are automatcally proposed. The user can change quantty and poston of those elements or exchange for other elements. Secondly the software calculates the optmal assembly sequence for the basc tems ncludng connecton elements. As documentaton or operaton manual the complete process can be saved as a graphc smulaton and shown agan and agan. Fxture buldng s consderably speeded up and smplfed especally wth regard to varous connecton elements.
