11 Get Started The fllwing tpics give yu all the infrmatin yu need t set up yur phne and Sprint Prepaid service the first time. Yur Phne at a Glance The fllwing illustratin utlines yur phne s primary features. Set Up Yur Phne Yu must first install and charge the battery t begin setting up yur phne. 1. Install the battery. Using the slt prvided, gently lift the cver ff the phne. Get Started 1

12 Insert the battery, aligning the gld cntacts n the battery with the gld cntacts n the phne, and gently press the battery int place. Replace the battery cmpartment cver, making sure all the tabs are secure and there are n gaps arund the cver. 2. Plug the USB cable int the Charger/Accessry Jack n the bttm f the phne. Get Started 2

13 3. Plug the ther end f the USB cable int the Charging Head, and then plug the Charging Head int an electrical utlet t charge yur battery. Fully charging a battery may take up t three hurs. Nte: Yur phne s battery shuld have enugh charge t turn the phne n and find a signal, run the setup applicatin, set up vic , and make a call. Yu shuld fully charge the battery as sn as pssible. 4. Press and hld the Pwer/Lck Key t turn the phne n. If yur phne is activated, it will turn n, search fr Sprint service, and begin the setup applicatin. If yur phne is nt yet activated, see Activate Yur Phne fr mre infrmatin. Activate Yur Phne T activate yur Sprint Prepaid service, yu must register yur phne nline. Register Yur Phne n Sprint Prepaid 1. Frm yur cmputer s brwser, visit sprint.cm/prepaidactivate. 2. Chse an activatin ptin and click Next, and then enter yur ZIP cde and click Next 3. When prmpted, enter the serial number (MEID) printed n the label n yur phne s packaging. 4. Fllw the instructins t select a plan and payment methd. If yu re swapping phnes r bringing yur number ver frm a different carrier, fllw the prmpts t sign in r prvide additinal infrmatin. 5. Cntinue t fllw the instructins t prgram yur phne. Once yu see the Cngrats page, yur phne and plan are activated. T cnfirm activatin, make a phne call. If yur phne is still nt activated, visit sprint.cm/prepaidsupprt fr assistance. If yu d nt have access t the internet, call Get Started 3

14 Sprint Custmer Service at frm anther phne. Tip: D nt press the Pwer/Lck Key while the phne is being activated. Pressing the Pwer/Lck Key cancels the activatin prcess. Nte: If yu are having any difficulty with activatin, visit sprint.cm/prepaidsupprt. Cmplete the Setup After yu turn n yur phne and activate it, yur phne displays a Welcme screen. Frm the Welcme screen fllw the prmpts t set up features and preferences n yur phne. Nte: In sme cases, yu may be able t cmplete the setup prcess befre yur phne has been activated n yur Sprint accunt. During setup and activatin, yu may see Sprint Cnnectins Optimizer ntice. Read the ntice and tap I Agree t use Sprint Cnnectins Optimizer, r tap Settings and uncheck ptin if yu d nt wish t use the Sprint Cnnectins Optimizer. 1. At the Welcme screen, fllw the n-screen instructins t cnfigure yur phne s basic ptins, such as language, date and time, Wi-Fi cnnectins, lcatin settings, etc. Ggle Accunt: Many f yur phne s applicatins, such as Gmail, Ggle Maps, Hanguts, and the Ggle Play Stre, require a Ggle Accunt. T use these applicatins, yu must set up yur Ggle Accunt n yur phne. Cmplete the steps t sign in t yur current Ggle Accunt, r sign up fr a new Ggle Accunt. Samsung Accunt: Yur Samsung Accunt is used fr access t Samsung apps and services, such as Samsung Hub, Samsung Apps, Samsung Link, and much mre. Cmplete the steps t sign in t yur current Samsung Accunt, r sign up fr a new Samsung Accunt. 2. Tap Finish t cmplete setup. Set Up Vic Yur phne autmatically transfers all unanswered calls t vic , even if yur phne is in use r turned ff. Yu shuld set up yur Sprint Vic and persnal greeting as sn as yur phne is activated. Always use a passwrd t prtect against unauthrized access. 1. Press Hme and tap Phne. If yur screen is lcked, press the Pwer/Lck Key t turn n the display and then swipe yur screen in any directin. 15 Create yur passwrd. Recrd yur name annuncement. Recrd yur greeting. Nte: Vic Passwrd Sprint strngly recmmends that yu create a passwrd when setting up yur vic t prtect against unauthrized access. Withut a passwrd, anyne wh has access t yur phne is able t access yur vic messages. Sprint Accunt Infrmatin and Help Find ut abut accunt passwrds and infrmatin abut managing yur accunt and finding help. Sprint Accunt Passwrds As a Sprint custmer, yu enjy unlimited access t yur persnal accunt infrmatin, yur vic accunt, and yur data services accunt. T ensure that n ne else has access t yur infrmatin, yu will need t create passwrds t prtect yur privacy. Accunt User Name and Passwrd If yu are the accunt wner, yu will create an accunt user name and passwrd when yu sign n t sprint.cm/prepaidmysprint. (Click Sign in/sign up and then click Sign up nw! t get started.) If yu are nt the accunt wner (if smene else receives the bill fr yur Sprint service), yu can get a sub-accunt passwrd at sprint.cm/prepaidmysprint. Vic Passwrd Yu ll create yur vic passwrd when yu set up yur vic . See Set Up Vic fr mre infrmatin n yur vic passwrd. Data Services Passwrd With yur Sprint phne, yu may elect t set up an ptinal data services passwrd t cntrl access and authrize Premium Service purchases. 17 Phne Basics Yur phne is packed with features that simplify yur life and expand yur ability t stay cnnected t the peple and infrmatin that are imprtant t yu. The fllwing tpics will intrduce the basic functins and features f yur phne. Yur Phne s Layut This illustratin utlines yur phne s basic layut. Key Functins The fllwing list defines the features listed in the abve illustratins. Earpiece lets yu hear the caller and autmated prmpts during calls. Prximity Sensr detect the presence f bjects near the phne, such as when using mtin settings. Fr example, while talking n the phne the sensr detects when it s near yur ear and turns ff the screen t prevent accidental key presses. Light Sensr detects the ambient light level, such as when setting screen brightness when Autmatic brightness is enabled, and when using the Camera. Frnt Camera allws yu t take pictures and vides f yurself. Phne Basics 7

18 Pwer/Lck Key lets yu turn the phne n r ff, turn the screen n r ff, r lck the screen. Press and hld fr a Device ptins menu, where yu can turn the phne ff r restart it, r fr easy access t Airplane mde, and t Mute, Vibrate, and Sund mdes. Back Key lets yu return t the previus screen, r clse a dialg bx, ptins menu, the Ntificatins panel, r n-screen keybard. Hme Key returns yu t the Hme screen. Press and hld t pen the recently used applicatins windw, and access Task Manager and Ggle Search. Quickly press twice t launch the S Vice app. Menu Key allws yu t access a menu frm mst f yur phne s screens. Vlume Key adjusts the vlume f yur phne s sunds. Frm the Hme screen, press t adjust master vlume. During calls r playback, press t adjust vlume. Press t mute the ringtne f an incming call. LED indicatr displays red when charging, green when fully charged, blue when pwering up, and range when a ntificatin has arrived. Micrphnes allw ther callers t hear yu when yu are using the speakerphne, and captures sund during recrding. 3.5 mm Headset Jack allws yu t plug in either a stere headset r an ptinal headset fr cnvenient, hands-free cnversatins. Camera lets yu take pictures and recrd vides. Flash helps illuminate subjects in lw-light envirnments when the camera is fcusing and capturing a pht r vide. USB Charger/Accessry Prt allws yu t cnnect the phne charger/usb cable (included) and ther ptinal accessries (nt included). Speaker plays ringtnes and sunds. The speaker als lets yu hear the caller s vice in speakerphne mde. Cver Release allws yu t lift the cver frm the back f yur phne. Infrared Transmitter cntrls external devices such as TVs. CAUTION! Inserting an accessry int the incrrect jack may damage the phne. Turn Yur Screen On and Off Yur phne allws yu t quickly turn the screen ff when nt in use and t turn it back n and unlck it when yu need it. Turn the Screen Off When Nt in Use T quickly turn the screen ff, press the Pwer/Lck Key. Pressing the Pwer/Lck Key again will turn n the screen and display the lck screen. Phne Basics 8

19 T save battery pwer, the phne autmatically turns ff the screen (times ut) if yu leave it idle fr a certain perid f time. Yu will still be able t receive messages and calls while the phne s screen is ff. Nte: Fr infrmatin n hw t adjust the time befre the screen turns ff, see Screen Timeut. Turn the Screen On and Unlck It 1. T turn the screen n, press the Pwer/Lck Key. 2. Unlck the screen: If yu are using the default screen lck, swipe the screen in any directin t unlck it. If yu have set up a screen lck, use yur screen lck. Fr mre infrmatin, see Lck Screen Settings. Tuchscreen Navigatin Yur phne s tuchscreen lets yu cntrl actins thrugh a variety f tuch gestures. Tap When yu want t type using the n-screen keybard, select items n-screen such as applicatin and settings icns, r press n-screen buttns, simply tap them with yur finger. Phne Basics 9

22 Flick Flicking the screen is similar t swiping, except that yu need t swipe yur finger in light, quick strkes. This finger gesture is always in a vertical directin, such as when flicking the cntacts r message list. Phne Basics 12

23 Pinch and Spread Pinch the screen using yur thumb and frefinger t zm ut r spread the screen t zm in when viewing a picture r a Web page. (Mve fingers inward t zm ut and utward t zm in.) Phne Basics 13

24 Tip: Pinching any Hme screen will let yu see thumbnails f all seven Hme screens. Tap a thumbnail t g straight t anther Hme screen. Rtate Fr mst screens, yu can autmatically change the screen rientatin frm prtrait t landscape by turning the phne sideways. When entering text, yu can turn the phne sideways t bring up a bigger keybard. Nte: Yu can cntrl screen rtatin with the Aut-rtate screen setting. T make this selectin, press and tap > Settings > My devicetab > Display > Aut rtate screen. See Aut Rtate Screen fr mre infrmatin. 25 Mtins and Gestures Interact with yur phne using mtins f the phne itself, r with gestures yu make with yur hands. Mtin Cntrl yur phne with natural mvements, like putting the phne t yur ear t call a cntact displayed n the screen. Mtin: Cntrl yur phne with natural mvements, like putting the phne t yur ear t call a displayed cntact. Direct call: Lift the phne t yur ear while viewing a cntact t call the cntact. Smart alert: Lift the phne t receive ntificatins f missed calls and ntificatins that ccurred while the phne was statinary. Zm: Tilt the phne t zm in r ut when viewing pictures in Gallery. Mve an icn: Mve the phne left r right while tuching an icn t repsitin it t anther page. Brwse an image: Mve the phne in a side-t-side mtin t pan frm side t side while viewing an image. Mute/pause: Mute incming calls and pause playback by turning the phne screen-side dwn. Palm mtin: Cntrl the phne by tuching the screen with the palm f yur hand. Mute/pause: Mute incming calls and pause playback by cvering the screen with yur hand. Enable Mtin Gestures Press and tap > Settings > My device tab > Mtins and gestures > Mtin. Fr mre infrmatin, see Mtins and Gestures. Smart Screen Smart screen features allw yu t have yur phne autmatically detect when yu are lking at the screen. Smart screen features include: Smart stay: The screen will nt time ut as lng as yu are lking at it. Smart screen uses the frnt camera t detect when yu are facing the screen. Sme factrs that may affect the ability f the frnt camera t detect yur face are: Phne Basics 15

26 When the phne is nt dcked r held upright, fr example when placed n a table. When the frnt camera cannt detect yur face and eyes. When the frnt camera is being used fr the current applicatin. When the surce f light is behind yu, r when using the phne in the dark. Cnfigure Smart Screen Enable Smart screen features, and learn abut using them. Press and tap > Settings > My device tab > Smart screen. Vice Cntrl Use spken cmmands t cntrl and interact with yur phne. Incming calls: When enabled, yu can answer r reject calls with the vice cmmands Answer and Reject. When yu answer a call with the vice cmmand, the Speaker will autmatically be turned n fr hands-free talking. Alarm: When enabled, yu can stp r snze alarms with the vice cmmands Stp and Snze. Camera: When enabled, yu can take pictures with the vice cmmands Smile, Cheese, Capture and Sht. Music: When enabled, yu can cntrl the music player with the vice cmmands Next, Previus, Pause, Play, Vlume Up, and Vlume Dwn. Cnfigure Vice Cntrl Enable Vice cntrl features, and learn abut using them. Press and tap > Settings > My device tab > Vice cntrl. Yur Hme Screen The hme screen is the starting pint fr yur phne s applicatins, functins, and menus. Yu can custmize yur hme screen by adding applicatin icns, shrtcuts, flders, widgets, and mre. Yur hme screen extends beynd the initial screen. Swipe the screen left r right t display additinal screens. Nte: Yu can keep swiping in ne directin t mve thrugh all the hme screens, back t the hme screen. The small circles tward the bttm f the screen let yu knw yur current screen psitin. 27 Create Shrtcuts Learn hw t add, mve, r remve items frm the hme screen. Add Shrtcuts frm the Applicatins Menu 1. Press t display the main Hme screen, and then navigate t the desired screen. 2. Tap Apps t display applicatins, and then scrll t lcate yur desired applicatin. 3. Tuch and hld the applicatin icn, and then drag it t a psitin n the hme screen. 4. Release the shrtcut t place it n the screen. Add Shrtcuts frm the Hme Screen 1. Press t display the main Hme screen, and then navigate t the desired screen. 2. Tuch and hld an empty area f the Hme screen, and then tap Apps and widgets. 3. Tuch and hld the applicatin icn, and then drag it t a psitin n the hme screen. 4. Release the shrtcut t place it n the screen. Remve a Shrtcut 1. Press t display the main Hme screen. 2. Tuch and hld the desired shrtcut t unlck it frm its lcatin n the current screen. 28 3. Drag the icn t the Remve icn and release it. As yu place the shrtcut int the Trash, bth items turn red. Nte: Remving a shrtcut des nt delete the applicatin, it simply remves the shrtcut frm the hme screen. Add and Remve Primary Shrtcuts Primary shrtcuts appear at the bttm f the main Hme screen by default (Phne, Cntacts, Messaging, Internet, and Apps). Yu can change any f yur primary shrtcuts, except the Apps shrtcut. Nte: Befre replacing a primary shrtcut, yu must first add the replacement shrtcut t the Hme Screen. Fr mre infrmatin, see Create Shrtcuts. 1. Press t display the main Hme screen. 2. Tuch and hld the primary shrtcut yu want t replace and then drag it t an empty space n any Hme screen. 3. Scrll the Hme screen t find the shrtcut yu want t add as the new primary shrtcut. 4. Tuch and hld the new shrtcut and then drag it t the empty space in the rw f primary shrtcuts. Caller ID Caller ID identifies a caller while the phne is ringing, by displaying the number f the incming call. Blck Caller ID Yu can blck yur Caller ID (visible t ther when yu make a call), befre making a call. The blcking nly lasts fr that call, and then returns t regular Caller ID. T permanently blck yur number, yu must call Sprint Custmer Service. 1. Press and tap Phne. 2. Tap. Call Waiting When yu re n a call, Call Waiting alerts yu t incming calls by sunding a tne. Yur phne s screen infrms yu that anther call is cming in and displays the caller s phne number (if it is available). T respnd t an incming call while yu re n a call: Phne Calls 30

T switch back t the first caller, tap Swap. 3-Way Calling With 3-Way Calling (als knwn as Cnference calling), yu can talk t tw peple at the same time. When using this feature, the nrmal airtime rates will be charged fr each f the tw calls. 1. Press and tap Phne. 2. Tap the number keys t enter a phne number, and then tap. 3. Once yu have established the call, tap Add call and dial the secnd number. (This puts the first caller n hld and dials the secnd number.) 4. When yu re cnnected t the secnd party, tap Merge. If ne f the peple yu called hangs up during yur call, yu and the remaining caller stay cnnected. If yu initiated the call and are the first t hang up, all callers are discnnected. 5. T end the three-way call, tap. Call Frwarding Call Frwarding lets yu frward all yur incming calls t anther phne number even when yur phne is turned ff. Gmail/Ggle Many f yur phne s applicatins such as Gmail, Ggle Hanguts, and the Ggle Play Stre require a Ggle Accunt. T use these applicatins, yu must set up yur Ggle Accunt n yur phne. Setting up yur accunt n yur phne syncs yur phne and yur nline Ggle Accunt. Create a Ggle Accunt If yu d nt already have a Ggle Accunt, yu can create ne nline r n yur phne. Nte: Yu can als create and sign int yur Ggle/Gmail accunt thrugh yur phne s Setup applicatin. Nte: Althugh yu need a Gmail accunt t use certain features f yur phne, such as Ggle Play, yu d nt need t use Gmail as the default accunt fr yur phne. Create a Ggle Accunt Online 1. Set the maximum number f messages with the Text message limit and Multimedia message limit settings belw. Text message limit: Set the maximum number f text messages per cnversatin. Multimedia message limit: Set the maximum number f multimedia messages per cnversatin. Text templates: Create and manage text strings that yu can add t messages. Aut cmbinatin: Determine whether lng messages that are received in multiple parts are autmatically re-assembled t display as a single message. Grup messaging: Cntrl hw messages t multiple recipients are handled. When enabled, a single message is sent t multiple recipients. When disabled, a separate message is sent t each recipient. Yur phne s data capabilities let yu wirelessly access the Internet r yur crprate netwrk thrugh a variety f cnnectins. Wi-Fi Wi-Fi prvides wireless Internet access ver distances f up t 300 feet. T use yur phne s Wi-Fi, yu need access t a wireless access pint r htspt. The availability and range f the Wi-Fi signal depends n a number f factrs, including infrastructure and ther bjects thrugh which the signal passes. Turn Wi-Fi On and Cnnect t a Wi-Fi Netwrk By default, yur phne s Wi-Fi feature is turned ff. Turning Wi-Fi n makes yur phne able t discver and cnnect t cmpatible in-range Wi-Fi netwrks (r WAPs - wireless access pints). Turn Wi-Fi On 1. Press and tap > Settings > Cnnectins > Wi-Fi. 2. Tap the ON/OFF switch t turn Wi-Fi n. Tip: Yu can als turn Wi-Fi n and ff thrugh the Ntificatins panel. Drag the Ntificatins panel dwn and tap Wi-Fi. Nte: Wi-Fi netwrks are self-discverable, which means n additinal steps are required fr yur phne t cnnect t a Wi-Fi netwrk. It may be necessary t prvide a user name and passwrd fr certain clsed Wi-Fi netwrks. Scan and Cnnect t a Wi-Fi Netwrk 1. Press and tap > Settings > Cnnectins > Wi-Fi. 2. The netwrk names and security settings (Open netwrk r Secured with xxx) f detected Wi-Fi netwrks are displayed. When yu select an pen netwrk, yu will be autmatically cnnected t the netwrk. When yu select a secured netwrk, yu will need t enter the wireless passwrd t cnnect t the netwrk. Enter the passwrd and tap Cnnect. 82 Add a New Wi-Fi Netwrk Manually 1. Press and tap > Settings > Cnnectins > Wi-Fi. 2. Tap Add Wi-Fi netwrk. 3. Enter the Netwrk SSID. This is the name f the Wi-Fi netwrk. 4. Tap the Security field and select the security methd used by the Wi-Fi netwrk. If a passwrd is required, enter it in the Passwrd field. 5. Tap Cnnect t stre the new infrmatin and cnnect t the Wi-Fi netwrk. Nte: The next time yur phne cnnects t a previusly accessed r secured Wi-Fi netwrk, yu wn t prmpted t enter the passwrd again (unless yu reset yur phne back t its factry default settings). Cnnect t a Different Wi-Fi Netwrk The fllwing infrmatin is designed t help yu cnnect yur phne t a different Wi-Fi netwrk. 1. Press and tap > Settings > Cnnectins > Wi-Fi. 2. Detected Wi-Fi netwrks are displayed. T manually scan fr available Wi-Fi netwrks, n the Wi-Fi settings screen, tap Scan. 3. Tap anther Wi-Fi netwrk t cnnect t it. Nte: If the Wi-Fi netwrk yu want t cnnect t is nt in the list f detected netwrks, scrll dwn the screen, and tap Add Wi-Fi netwrk. Enter the Wi-Fi netwrk settings and tap Save. Cnnectins Optimizer The Cnnectins Optimizer is a tl that autmatically selects the best mbile netwrk fr yur phne, including "remembered" Wi-Fi netwrks. Abut Cnnectins Optimizer The Cnnectins Optimizer helps yu manage and enhance yur data experience by finding and cnnecting t "remembered" Wi-Fi netwrks n yur phne. Remembered Wi-Fi netwrks are netwrks with which yu have previusly chsen t cnnect. Active Wi-Fi cnnectins may ffer imprved perfrmance and generally imprve battery life while allwing yu t talk n the phne and use data at the same time. The Cnnectins Optimizer wrks by searching fr available "remembered" Wi-Fi netwrks. If yu d nt leave yur Wi-Fi antenna n all the time, yu will nly ntice the Cnnectins Optimizer perating at certain times f the day in a small number f lcatins n the netwrk. Yur Wi-Fi antenna will cnserve battery by scanning fr cnnectins peridically (nt cntinuusly), and if n cnnectin is achieved, the antennas will be turned ff. Yu may als manually turn the antennas ff during the scan perid. Web and Data 72

Press and tap > Settings > Cnnectins tab > Mre netwrks > Mbile netwrks > Cnnectins ptimizer. 2. Tap the check bx t enable Cnnectins ptimizer. Data Services General Infrmatin (3G and 4G Netwrks) With yur Sprint service, yu are ready t start enjying the advantages f data services. The fllwing tpics will help yu learn the basics f using yur data services, including managing yur user name, launching a data cnnectin, and navigating the Web with yur phne. Imprtant! Certain data services requests may require additinal time t prcess. While yur phne is lading the requested service, the tuchscreen keybard may appear unrespnsive when in fact it is functining prperly. Allw the phne sme time t prcess yur data usage request. Yur Data Services User Name When yu buy yur phne and sign up fr service, yu re autmatically assigned a user name, which is typically based n yur name and a number, fllwed (Fr example, the third Jhn Smith t sign up fr Sprint data services might have jsmith003@sprintpcs.cm as his user name.) When yu use data services, yur user name is submitted t identify yu t the Natinwide Sprint Netwrk. Yur user name is autmatically prgrammed int yur phne. Yu dn t have t enter it. Update Yur User Name If yu chse t change yur user name and select a new ne nline, r make any changes t yur services, yu must then update the prfile n yur phne. 1. Press and tap > Settings > Mre tab > System Update. 2. Tap Update Prfile. 4G Services 4G is a service that must be included in yur service plan and als available within yur area. 4G cverage is currently available in nly certain markets. Fr mre details n 4G availability g t: sprint.cm/4g and click the See the cverage map link. Nte: If 4G service is nt included in yur service plan, the 4G icn will nt appear in the Ntificatins area. Depending n which icns appear within the Ntificatins area, yur services and features will change. Virtual Private Netwrks (VPN) Frm yur phne, yu can add, set up, and manage virtual private netwrks (VPNs) that allw yu t cnnect and access resurces inside a secured lcal netwrk, such as yur crprate netwrk. Prepare Yur Phne fr VPN Cnnectin Depending n the type f VPN, yu may be required t enter yur lgin credentials r install security certificates befre yu can cnnect t yur cmpany s lcal netwrk. Yu can get this infrmatin frm yur netwrk administratr. T cnnect t a VPN, yu must have Mbile data enabled, r yur phne must be cnnected t a Wi-Fi netwrk. Set a Screen Lck Befre setting up a VPN, yu must set a screen lck t prevent access t yur phne by unauthrized users. PIN r passwrd screen lcks prvide sufficient security t set up trusted credential strage. 1. Press and tap > Settings > My device tab. 2. Tap Lck screen > Screen lck. 3. 85 Add a VPN Cnfigure a cnnected t a VPN. Yu must have a PIN r Passwrd screen lck set befre adding a VPN. 1. Press and tap > Settings > Cnnectins tab. 2. Tap Mre netwrks > VPN. 3. Tap t add a VPN with these ptins: Name: Enter the name f the VPN. Type: Chse the type f VPN, frm PPTP, L2TP/IPSec PSK, L2TP/IPSec RSA, IPSec Xauth PSK, IPSec Xauth RSA, r IPSec Hybrid RSA. Server address: enter the VPN server address. PPP Encryptin (MPPE): Tap t enable, if applicable fr the VPN. Shw advanced ptins: Tap t set ther ptins, depending n the type f VPN. 4. Tap Save t save the VPN. Cnnect t a VPN Cnnect t a VPN that s already set up n yur phne. 1. Press and tap > Settings > Cnnectins tab. 2. Tap Mre netwrks > VPN. 3. In the VPNs sectin, tap a VPN. 4. Discnnect frm a VPN The fllwing describes hw t discnnect frm a VPN cnnectin. 1. Tuch and hld the title bar, and then drag dwn t pen the Ntificatins panel. 2. Tap the VPN cnnectin t return t the VPN settings screen, and then tap the VPN cnnectin t discnnect frm it. Taking pictures with yur phne s built-in camera is as simple as chsing a subject, pinting the camera, and then pressing the camera key. Press and tap Apps > Camera. Frnt/Back Camera: Switch between the frnt and back cameras. Settings: Access camera settings. Current Mde: Displays the current shting mde, chsen with Mde Selectr. With the back camera, yu can take pictures r recrd what s in frnt f yu. Mde: Tap t chse a shting mde. Scrll available mdes, and then tap a mde t select it. Mdes include: Aut: Autmatically adjusts the expsure t ptimize the clr and brightness f pictures.
