3 Device Description The SETRO T is n electricl mesurement trnsducer tht llows the mesurement of electricl quntities in electricl networks in single unit. In industries, power plnts nd substtions, especilly trnsducers re used for mesurnd (e.g. current, voltge, power, phse ngle, energy or frequency) ssignment into further processing through nlog outputs or communiction interfce for precise control, notifiction or visuliztion tsks. 5 Specific Functions nd Design Mesurement process nd connections The mesurements re obtined from the lternting quntities of current nd voltge supplied to the different mesuring inputs. Rted input lternting voltges up to U ph- = 400 V nd U ph- = 400 V cn be fed in using internl resistive input voltge dividers. The internl current trnsformers process rted input lternting currents up to 5. The circuits connected on the input side re isolted glvniclly from the current trnsformers to ensure tht the potentil is decoupled. The input vlues re processed nd then output s nlog vlues or digitl dt by the corresponding Interfces, converted into direct currents nd/or direct voltges depending on the prmeter settings or trnsmitted to peripherl devices for nlysis. The cse is prepred for mounting on top-ht ril. The top side of the device ccommodtes the RJ45 Ethernet connector with two LEDs nd four dditionl LEDs. ommuniction To communicte with the systems control nd other process utomtion equipment, the device fetures n Ethernet interfce, nd if instlled in the device model, n RS485 interfce. Ethernet supports the device prmeteriztion, the trnsmission of mesured dt, metered vlues nd indictions nd the time synchroniztion vi TP. The communiction protocols re HTTP nd MODUS TP. The RS485 interfce supports the trnsmission of the mesured dt, metered vlues nd indictions nd the time synchroniztion. Depending on the device version, you cn use either the MODUS RTU or the IE communiction protocol. The user interfce SETRO T GUI (GUI = Grphicl User Interfce) is implemened in the device, mening tht for the whole opertion nd prmeteriztion of the device no dditionl softwre is required. You cn nvigte through Microsoft Internet Explorer using the icons on the toolbr. Device sttus, so s communiction, prmeteriztion, log files, vlue view, nd mintennce cn be esily proceeded through SETRO T GUI interfce.
