Management Nde Any prcessr, 2.0 GHz r faster. 2 cres. RAM Cnferencing Ndes Dependent n the number f CPUs, but generally: Minimum 2 GB f RAM per Cnferencing Nde, plus 2 GB per hst. We recmmend 1 GB (r mre) RAM per physical cre. Management Nde Minimum 4 GB RAM fr the Management Nde. Strage Cnferencing Ndes 50 GB minimum per Cnferencing Nde 500 GB ttal per server (t allw fr snapshts etc.) Management Nde 100 GB SSD GPU Hst servers d nt require any specific hardware cards r GPUs. OS The Pexip Infinity VMs are delivered as VM images (.va etc) t be run directly n the hypervisr. N OS shuld be installed. Netwrk Gigabit Ethernet cnnectivity is strngly recmmended. In general, yu can expect Mbps per call, depending n call cntrl setup. Multiple VMs sharing the same hardware Pexip Infinity Cnferencing Ndes and Management Ndes may share the same physical hst. Pexip ndes may als share the same physical hst with ther virtual machines. Call cntrl r DNS sends calls fr all dmains t the shared Cnferencing Ndes. Des nt prvide dedicated capacity per custmer. Single Management Nde, multiple dmains, dedicated Cnferencing Ndes One r mre Cnferencing Ndes per custmer. Allws fr dedicated capacity per custmer. Dedicated Management Nde and dedicated Cnferencing Ndes per custmer instance Allws fr clse custmer netwrk integratin, using VLANs, hsted n a shared server farm with multiple VLANs. The dedicated Management Nde allws fr custmer self-management. Capacity Call capacity Capacity is dependent n server specificatins. As a general indicatin, using ur recmmended hardware (Intel Haswell, 10 cres, 2.3 GHz) Pexip Infinity can cnnect: up t tw High Definitin 720p30 calls per CPU cre (based n 1.1 GHz per call plus 20% headrm) up t 20 audi-nly AAC-LD calls at 64 kbps. Servers that are lder, have slwer prcessrs, r have fewer CPUs, will have a lwer verall capacity. Hypervisr requirements VMware Versin 12 f the Pexip Infinity platfrm supprts VMware vsphere ESXi 5.x and 6.0, althugh we recmmend ESXi 5.5 r 6.0. Supprt fr ESXi 4.1 is being deprecated - if yu have upgraded frm a versin prir t v12, yu can still deply Cnferencing Ndes t servers running ESXi 4.1; hwever if yu have a new deplyment using v12 and attempt t deply a Cnferencing Nde t a server running ESXi 4.1, that nde will g straight int maintenance mde. We recmmend at least the Standard editin. The Enterprise and Enterprise Plus editins have additinal features that can be taken advantage f by Pexip Infinity in larger deplyments. The Pexip Infinity platfrm will run n the free editin f vsphere Hypervisr. Hwever, this editin has a number f limitatins that mean we d nt recmmend its use except in smaller deplyments, r test r dem envirnments. Ntably, autmatic deplyment f Cnferencing Ndes is nt supprted. Micrsft Hyper-V The Pexip Infinity platfrm supprts Micrsft Hyper-V in the frm f Micrsft Hyper-V Server 2012 and later, and Windws Server 2012 and later. KVM Pexip Infinity requires yur KVM envirnment t include Linux kernel r later, and QEMU r later. This means the fllwing distributins: Debian 8, RHEL 7, SLES 12, r Ubuntu (r later, where apprpriate). Xen Pexip Infinity requires Xen 4.2 and later. Other hypervisrs and rchestratin layers Cnferencing Ndes can be prvisined with a cnfiguratin dcument generated independently f a generic VM image. This permits deplyment f Pexip Infinity nt unsupprted hypervisrs as well as nt supprted hypervisrs that are managed by an rchestratin layer. Pexip Infinity can be deplyed n Amazn Web Services (AWS).
