Intrductin The Fusin enterprise management platfrm enables rganizatins t mnitr and manage AV equipment, BMS, rm scheduling, lighting, shades, climate, and energy cnsumptin frm a single platfrm. Yu can deply Fusin RV (RmView), Fusin EM (Energy Management) r bth, based n rganizatinal needs. Fusin RV enables facility and IT managers t centrally mnitr, manage, and schedule AV presentatin, vide cnferencing and capture resurces. It can track device and rm usage t schedule rutine maintenance, prvide real-time remte technical supprt and receive instant alert ntificatins. Rbust reprting features prvide data t make mre effective purchasing and scheduling decisins. Fusin EM manages and mnitrs renewable and sustainable energy surces in real-time and displays histrical usage data fr day, week, mnth r year. It als prvides envirnmental cntrl, including lighting, shades and climate t intelligently integrate with rm scheduling and ccupancy levels fr greater energy savings. Fusin EM is able t track the building's carbn ftprint while enabling facility managers t easily analyze energy cnsumptin. Sftware Upgrades Fusin can be installed as an upgrade frm existing RmView Server Editin 7.2, Fusin RV 8.xand 9.x sftware installatins. The installer will remve the previus versin while upgrading yur existing database. All f yur existing data will be maintained. III. Knwn Issues Installatin Yur bject security plicies will have t be recreated after the installatin is cmplete fr an upgrade frm versin 7.2. Cnfiguratin Nne Database The database name cannt include a hyphen character ("-"). The database cnnectin must be specified with a fully qualified dmain name, an IP address cannt be used. Administratin Fr rms that use WebDAV calendar access, a rm alias must be specified in rder fr thse rms t be returned as part f a rm search. When creating a meeting preset template, the data fields must be filled cnsecutively withut leaving any blank fields. Mnitring & Asset Management Supprt fr generatin X cntrllers (e.g. CNMSX-Pr) is limited t versin 6 symbls. Offline feedback is nt detected in real-time. Special characters (<>) are remved frm input fields in the user interface. Scheduling The incrrect meeting time zne is stred in the database fr meetings riginating frm Micrsft Exchange. This causes Daylight Savings Time t be ignred. It culd als cause the start time f the meeting t shift when ging ver a DST transitin. Creating a recurring meeting in an area that desn t participate in Daylight Savings can cause sme ccurrences f that meeting t display a start and end time ne hur earlier than specified. The rm search feature is nt supprted when using WebDAV prtcl fr mailbx access with Exchange This feature requires Exchange Web Services (EWS) prtcl fr mailbx access with Exchange 2007 r WebDAV prtcl fr mailbx access with Exchange The Check cnfiguratin ptin shuld be disabled fr Ltus Ntes installatins.

6 Editing a meeting in the Fusin web client that was created frm Ltus Ntes will delete and recreate the meeting n the calendar. This may cause the meeting t mmentarily disappear frm the calendar. Fusin may nt always detect a duble-bked rm when a meeting is added t a rm's calendar thrugh Micrsft Outlk and a secnd meeting is added fr the same time t the same calendar thrugh Fusin. A recurring meeting that includes multiple rms where the rms span multiple time znes may nt reflect the crrect time fr instances f the meeting that ccur after a daylight savings time change. A recurring appintment using Exchange (EWS r WebDAV) that is updated t extend the number f ccurrences may display at an incrrect time after DST transitins when viewed frm a Web Client in a time zne with different DST transitin dates. Using multiple user accunts t authenticate t Exchange mailbxes with WebDAV r EWS prtcl can result in incnsistent results when editing a meeting that includes multiple rms. We recmmend running the schedule service with ne specific dmain accunt r using ne accunt t prvide access t every rm s calendar. A meeting scheduled by a Web Client user in a time zne that differs frm that f the rm r rms in the meeting may nt be crrectly scheduled ver a Daylight Savings transitin if ne time zne supprts DST while the ther des nt. Reprting Meeting by Rm reprt Recurring instances that are deleted will still shw in the reprt Recurring instances that are rescheduled will still shw in the reprt n their riginal date/time Deleting a recurring series will remve all ccurrences frm the reprt, even if they actually tk place in the past Permissins n tasks fr scheduled reprts must be set frm the Windws task scheduler after the scheduled task is created. Getting Started Fusin requires user authenticatin befre launching the applicatin. A lgin dialg is presented t the user when the client starts (if using frms authenticatin). Fr a new installatin, the default username is "admin". The default passwrd is admin. Click "Lgin" t run Fusin. NOTE TO ADMINISTRATORS: Change the passwrd fr this user immediately t prevent unauthrized access t the sftware. VIII. Licensing An unlicensed versin f Fusin allws five symbl cnnectins. An administratr may add mre prcessr/symbl bjects t the database, but nly the first five added (r the first five read frm the database) will attempt hardware cnnectins. Bth Fusin RV and Fusin EM clients are active while the applicatin is in evaluatin mde. Each client is licensed separately. As sn as ne client is licensed, the ther will be disabled until it is licensed separately. When cntacting Crestrn fr a license be sure t send the key cde fr the client applicatin yu wish t install. The install wizard cntains tw license tabs, ne fr Fusin RV and ne fr Fusin EM; reference the license cde frm the tab f the client yu want t license. If yu wish t license bth clients, bth cdes will be required and yu will receive tw license keys. Call CRESTRON t btain a license.
