Install Screen Beam Unless the panel needs to be removed, leave zp te n place durng nstallaton Read the safety precautons and notfcatons carefully before settng up ths product. CAUTION: Make sure all unts are swtched off whenever connectng or dsconnectng devces. Settng Up ths Devce Always use all 4 beam brackets A Connect the cables as detaled n the dagram overleaf, then follow the steps below to complete the setup of the Avaya Scopa XT Meetng Center. For detals on how to use the system after setup, see the User Gude for Avaya A Scopa XT5000 endpont or the Quck Start Gude for Avaya Scopa XT Meetng Center. Before You Begn: Check that you have the necessary tools, parts, and accessores requred for assembly. Install The Sngle Screen Step 3. 3 Step 4. Remove the Back Panel Step 7. Install the Camera Platform and Camera Install Camera Platform The above symbol s meant to represent snappng the component nto place. Camera to Platform Remember to support the back panel when unlockng to prevent t fallng. Tghten M5 bolts once camera Has been mounted as requred. Step 5. Install the Codec 1. Place the XT5000 Codec Unt wth the connectors facng to the rght. 2. Connect all the requred cables (see the Installaton Gude for Avaya Scopa XT5000 for detals). 3. Connect the mcrophone pod cable and place t on the table, located 2m away from the dsplay screen (see the Installaton Gude for Avaya Scopa XT5000 for detals). Insert XT5000 Codec Unt nto bracket Connectons should be vsble Ft Codec on to nner column Step 8. Install Completed Camera Assembly by Placng on the Screen Loosen all 8 bolts from step 3 to adjust vertcal poston Tghten all 8 bolts to secure camera assembly n vertcal poston Step 6. Assemble the Camera Arm Insert 4 bolts and loosely fx wth 4 square nuts Slde assembled Camera Arm Locate square nuts nto the channels Slde camera mount assembly to desred horzontal poston Tghten both grub screws to secure Tghten 4 bolts Ensure the arm faces the opposte drecton to the mountng extruson brackets. 4 Step 9. Attach Screen Attach the screen brackets to the back of your chosen screen(s). Step 11. Fne Heght Adjustment (Dual Only) For Screen Applcaton If screens are not algned vertcally, adjust as requred wth 4mm allen key. Secure Screen In Place Use screws provded Extenson bracket locaton Step 10. Hang Screen Drectly On to ng Frame Once the brackets have been affxed to the screen, the whole fxng can be lfted and hung on both the screen mountng beams. Step 13. Adjustng The Camera Poston Adjust the camera mount Set horzontal poston of the camera usng the provded Allen key. 5 Step 14. Attach A/C adapter clp Step 16. Fx Cables to the shown n the pcture Poston the A/C adapter nsde the clp The Avaya Scopa XT Meetng Center provdes several solutons of cable management that can be used to sut your needs. 1A Feed cables out through the front of the unt 3A Cut velcro wraps to requred length 2A Release channel 3B Use velcro wraps to attach to crossbar 2B Feed cables through channel 4A Pass cable through holes n base 4B Pull cables clear of the base Step 15. Connect power cables Connect the devce to the power strp 1. Connect the IEC320 cables (ncluded) to the montor. 2. Connect the XT5000 A/C adapter to the nternatonal power strp. 3. Connect the approprate country power cable provded wth your XT5000 codec to the power strp. 4. 6 Step 17. Close The Back Panel Warnng Total weght of nstalled equpment must not exceed 120kg/264lb, symmetrcally dstrbuted. Ensure that floor or wall surface s strong enough to support the weght of the fully-loaded Avaya Scopa XT Meetng Center and that the floor surface s flat and level. Do not nstall Avaya Scopa XT Meetng Center outdoors or n envronments where t wll be drectly exposed to mosture or hghwnds.
