This latest release is free f charge fr all users with Fiery prserver sftware r Fiery XF cvered under an EFI Sftware Maintenance and Supprt Agreement (SMSA) r an EFI Enhanced Service Prgram (ESP). Highlights: Supprt fr EFI Reggiani textile printers Clr tls imprvements that prduce superir clr results Flurescent ink supprt fr EFI sft signage and textile printer lines Specific textile printing features such as textile Step and Repeat, and Dimensinal Crrectin New Fiery Sign Flw Optin fr HS series printers Over 40 new and ver 20 updated printer drivers fr EFI, Cann, HP, Inca, Mimaki, Muth, Océ, Rich, Rland DG, and Sawgrass devices, plus supprt fr tw new DYSS cutting devices Clr quality imprvements: Supprt fr EFI Reggiani textile printers, bth fr direct and transfer printing. This includes full linearizatin and prfiling supprt fr reactive, acid, disperse, dye sublimatin and pigment inks. Clr tls and clr engine enhancements t deliver mre vivid, saturated and richer clr results. Fine dithering and superir screening technlgy delivers clean pastels, smth gradatins and deep rich blacks while maintaining fine details. The enhanced linearizatin gives a better shadw area reprductin withut any unwanted artifacts. The New Ttal Ink Limit feature replaces the Advanced Ink Limits and nw supprts light inks and gamut extending inks. When prfiling fr Reggiani ReNOIR textile printers, vrgb prfiles are als autmatically created in additin t the 4c r multiclr utput prfile. These can then be used in textile CAD r design applicatins allwing designers t wrk in their printer clr space resulting in mre predictable utput. Flurescent Magenta and Yellw ink are supprted as printer spt clrs fr the EFI sft signage and textile printer lines. Black Pint Cmpensatin (BPC) has been enhanced t deliver superir cntrast and maintain mre detail in dark and shadw areas. Supprt fr the latest revisin f the FOGRA PrcessStandard Digital released in Three new Clr Verifier presets cver the updated tlerances fr clr evaluatin: Fgra PSD 2016 Side-by-Side, Fgra PSD 2016 Spt Clrs and Fgra PSD 2016 Media-Relative. Updated ISO Validatin Print supprt. Delta E2000 is nw the default, plus criteria and tlerances were updated fr the tnality assessment fr chart verificatin. Fr L*a*b* and spt clrs it is nw pssible t select a different rendering intent t Abslute Clrimetric. Especially n medias with a strng use f ptical brightening agents, the use f Relative Clrimetric Rendering Intent instead can result in a mre neutral print result. Abslute Clrimetric Rendering Intent can give a yellw cast printut that wuld nt be detected by measuring but wuld shw a clear difference in visual appearance. 2 Prductivity imprvements: Extended Step and Repeat functinality t supprt textile designs fr a seamless repeat. It s pssible t define a vertical r hrizntal drp, and fill the width r height f the media even if the design needs t be partially repeated t accmplish this. The new Step and Repeat functin als includes an additinal ptin t rtate every alternate cpy by 180 fr bth rws and clumns. The Dimensinal Crrectin feature crrects changes in dimensins after printing r pst-treating fabric, bth fr fabric that shrinks frm heating r enlarges due t tensining. Fiery XF adapts the print jb t ensure the final result after pst-treatment has the crrect size. The Fiery Sign Flw Optin, specific fr EFI HS series printers, enables the mst time-efficient prductin and installatin f in-stre sign rlluts. It prints in the ptimal rllut rder, uses and cmbines existing RIPped files fr the fastest pssible prductin, and prvides prductin data fr cst analysis and cntrl. Supprt via the Cut Marks Optin fr the DYSS X5 and DYSS X7 cutting devices using the K-CUT Visin system. System imprvements: Supprt fr macos High Sierra (10.13) fr the Fiery XF Server, Fiery prserver and Fiery XF Client, and Unidriver. Custmers n versin 6.0 r abve, can use the Online Updater t respectively update first t 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 and then t 6.5. Custmers with an earlier versin installed need t perfrm a full installatin f a 6 versin and then perfrm the necessary nline updates t get t versin 6.5; r can perfrm a full installatin f 6.5 frm a DVD r ISO directly. EFI will pre-activate 6.5 upgrade licenses fr all custmers with a valid EFI sftware agreement (SMSA r ESP). T dwnlad a pre-activated license, chse Activate Fiery XF frm the Fiery XF Cntrl applicatin, check Dwnlad previusly created license, and then click the Dwnlad Activated Licenses buttn befre yu start the installatin f the update. Nte: If yu attempted t run the 6.5 updater befre installing the 6.5 license yu can restart the upgrade prcess by launching the updater frm the EFI Dwnlads flder created n the Desktp, after perfrming the steps abve.
