1 EMC Bkshelf ebk Navigatinal Interactins Navigatinal Interactins There are three different types f navigatinal Interactins. They are: Search Wrds - Thrughut the pages f the bk are the Search wrds Activities. After selecting the link Search wrds the user is brught t the ggle search engine. Frm there, they are able t input the wrds that are fund in the ebk, next t the Search wrds Icn. Links t EMCL - Thrughut the pages f the bk are links, that nce selected, will bring the user t the EMC Languages Main Site. Navigatin Pane The Navigatin Pane cntains seventeen individual buttns and interactins. Each designed t prvide the necessary tls t find cntent and navigate within yur ebk. These buttns are utlined belw: Single Page View: Selecting the single page view will display ne page f the ebk at a time. Dual Page View: Selecting the dual page view will display tw pages f the ebk at a time.

Select a sectin f the bk t autmatically jump t that page in the ebk.

2 Table f Cntents: Selecting the table f cntents will display a Sidebar n the left hand side f the screen cntaining links t specifics sectins f the ebk. Select a sectin f the bk t autmatically jump t that page in the ebk. Bkmark: Selecting t add a bkmark will allw the user t create a link with a specific name in the bkmarks Sidebar that will allw users t jump straight t the bkmarked page.

Search: Selecting search will all the user t search the ebk fr a specific wrd r sentence. The user is able t input the desired wrd r sentence in the Sidebar and then select Search.

After selecting Search, a list f links will ppulate in the Sidebar that the user can select. This will bring them directly t the page that cntains the searched wrd r sentence. Ntes: Selecting ntes will allw the user the ability t select a specific prtin f the ebk and write in a persnal nte. This will then create a transparent yellw bx cntaining the nte that the user entered. If the user is als using the dual screen ptin, they will be given the ptin t print either the left r right page.

4 Highlight: Selecting highlight allw the user t click and drag the muse ver a prtin f the ebk, t highlight certain text r bjects in yellw. Pan: Selecting pan will allw the user t click and drag the ebk t mve the page. This is useful if a prtin f the text is appearing ff-screen. Fit Width: Selecting fit width will autmatically adjust the ebk page s that it is the same width as the cmputer screen. Fit Height: Selecting fit height will autmatically adjust the ebk page s that it is the same height as the cmputer screen.

5 Print: The print buttn is a feature f the system we use t deliver yur ebk cntent. Due t the richness and depth f the cntent and interactins in yur EMC ebks the printing feature is nt available fr printing page cntent. Previus: Selecting previus will mve the ebk back ne page. If the user is using dual page view, it will mve the ebk back tw pages. Next: Selecting next will mve the ebk frward ne page. If the user is using dual page view, it will mve the ebk frward tw pages. Manually Entering ebk Page: The User is able t manually enter the desired ebk page by highlighting the number that appears befre the slash and inputting the desired page. After selecting Enter, the user will be brught t the entered page. Zm In: Selecting zm in will rund the zm percent up t the next highest interval f 10%. (Selecting t zm in at 90-99% will bring the zm t 100%)

6 Zm Put: Selecting zm ut will rund the zm percent up t the next lwest interval f 10%. (Selecting t zm in at % will bring the zm t 90%) Manually Entering Zm Percent: The User is able t manually enter the Zm Percent by highlighting the previus percentage and inputting the zm percent. After selecting Enter, the page will zm ut r in t the inputted percent.
