1 Prperty Tax.NET Micrsft SQL All BS&A.NET applicatins use a Micrsft SQL database engine, which is mre rbust and reliable, and is cnsidered the industry standard. Micrsft SQL allws fr mre flexibility in strage, backup, and maintenance f data. Edit Parcel/Tabbed Seasns Edit Parcel ffers quick access t parcel infrmatin in a tabbed frmat. Tabbed seasns enable yu t lcate seasnspecific infrmatin with ne click (Fig. 1). Adjustment Types Adjustment types include Schl District and Prperty Class (Fig. 2). Multiple adjustments can be entered fr each type. Parcel Summary Pane Prvides seasnal figures (Fig. 3). Prvides image - and if set up, GIS - infrmatin at a glance.

2 Prperty Tax.NET Cmmitting Taxes The Cmmit Taxes utility displays which taxes have and have nt been cmmitted. Cmmit nly the seasn yu want, regardless f the seasn in which yu are currently wrking. Cunty users can cmmit any unit, regardless f the unit currently laded (Fig. 4). Assessing/Tax Parcel Differences When linked with Assessing.NET, easily cmpare Tax's database infrmatin with Assessing's in real time. Parcels with cnflicting infrmatin are highlighted, making them easier t lcate fr quick reslutin with yur Assessr. Duble-clicking a parcel in the "Differences" dialg lads the parcel n the screen behind it (Fig. 5).

3 Prperty Tax.NET Apply Payments Pay Balance (Acrss All Seasns) lets yu quickly pay the ttal amunt due acrss all seasns fr the selected parcel (Fig. 6). The View Batch Ttals cmmand pps up an infrmatin dialg with ttal number f transactins and ttal transactin amunt fr that batch number (Fig. 7). The Details buttn pens a screen prviding essential tax payment infrmatin and payment spread, and ffers mre detail with the click f a buttn. The View Jurnal Entry buttn lcated n the Details screen drills dwn t lcate specific jurnal entries fr the payment (when linked with BS&A GL/Budgeting.NET). Receipts The Receipt Summary Table lets yu view all payments fr all seasns, and can be indexed by Seasn/Receipt Number. Receipt reprts, such as the Quick Tax Disbursement, can be run n the current seasn r n multiple seasns.

User Administratin A centralized Admin database is shared acrss all applicatins. Shared Database Grups allw yu t minimize yur database management by gruping tgether yur databases. Amng ther advantages, yu may back up the Shared Database Grup, eliminating the need t d s in the individual applicatins (Fig. 8). Blcking, marking, and changing the index in Table views can be accmplished by right-clicking and selecting frm a menu. The Validate Addresses setting ensures prper entry f City/State/Zip: entering the Zip aut-fills the City/State; entering the City prmpts yu t select the prper CSZ cmbinatin. Detailed audit trail tracks virtually all changes made. Jurnal Entries Table shws each jurnal entry created, and its status (Psted r Unpsted). Screen clrs can be custmized. The Update Manager lets yu view available sftware updates, infrms yu when critical, and prvides details f the changes. "Quick Tables" lets yu jump t the mst frequently-accessed Tables (parcels; receipts; specials).
