Features FiedMate is a PC based configuration too that performs numerous tasks, incuding initia setup, daiy maintenance, troubeshooting, and configuration backup for device repacement. These tasks are streamined by FiedMate s intuitive operation and integrated environment, which is independent from communication protocos and device vendors. Moreover off ine database function for up to 500 devices which maintains a compete record for a device configuration and maintenance activities. FiedMate incorporates the open FDT/DTM standard and is compiant with DTMs per the FDT1.2 and FDT2.0 simutaneousy standard. FiedMate supports by Buit-in DTM interpreting the existing Device Description (DD) instaneousy, for other vendor's devices that do not have DTMs avaiabe. The FDT frame is an integra part of FiedMate. Many DTMs are incuded with the FiedMate appication, and additiona DTMs are avaiabe from most fied device vendors. * FDT: (Fied Device Too) is a frame appication that standardsizes the communication and configuration interface between a fied devices and host systems. * DTM: (Device Type Manager) is the appication which defines the Graphica User (GUI) specific to the device. *PC is not incuded. 2. 2 Device Function Segment Viewer Dispays a ist of devices currenty connected on the communication ines, grouped by protoco. Basic device specific information is dispayed depending on protoco (Device ID, Manufacturer ID, address, Device type, Device revision, and status). Segment Viewer supports BRAIN, FOUNDATION fiedbus H1, HART, PROFIBUS, ISA100.11a*1, Modbus. *1 It dispays either via gateway or infrared communication. Device Viewer Dispays the current status of the fied device, incuding errors, warnings and good status. The status dispay icon (red, yeow, green) ceary indicates the device s sef-diagnostic status. DeviceViewer supports FOUNDATION fiedbus H1, HART, ISA100.11a*1. *1 ISA100 is supported from R Trend Graph Function Dispays the acquired data on a trend graph. This function is informative for the evauation of the trend of the acquired data. Configuration Function Device parameters can be easiy configured. BT200 Tabet With the same screen and operation as the BT200, Fied engineer can configure and adjust the BRAIN device without changing the conventiona procedure. In addition, by saving the device s parameter information on the FiedMate. So the printing operation on the fied has become useess. Parameter Manager The Parameter Manager is a simpe parameter viewing window, in which adjustment and fied device configuration can easiy be performed. Parameter Manager supports FOUNDATION fiedbus H1, HART, ISA100.11a*1. *1 ISA100 is supported from R DTM Works The DTM Works provides not ony configuration, but easy setup, caibration, simuation wizards etc. as defined by the device vendors DTM. DTM Works supports BRAIN, FOUNDATION fiedbus H1, HART, PROFIBUS, ISA100.11a, Modbus. DD Menu The existing fiedbus DD is utiized to enabe function bock configuration. DD Menu supports FOUNDATION fiedbus H1. Zero Adjustment The Zero Adjustment function is executed from Segment Viewer with one-cick. This function supports YOKOGAWA Differentia pressure transmitters (HART/FOUNDATION fiedbus H1/BRAIN). A Parameters Acquisition This function obtains a parameters from device with one-cick. Obtained parameters can be compared with recorded parameters and then dispayed the difference. Recorded parameters and comparison resut can export in various formats (text, HTML etc.). 2 Database Function Device Maintenance Info. Provides advanced maintenance information consisting of: - Device Information - Sticky Note - Images - History - Parameter (A Parameters of Device, ZERO Adjustment Parameters of Device) - Attachment (Memo, Document, Parameter Manager Data, DTM Data) A information can be exported / imported. Device Navigator Shows a registered devices and provides a searching function by tag, device name, memo, etc. * Onine registration and offine registration can directy be impemented from Segment Viewer/Device Navigator. (Up to approx. 500 devices can be registered) Marking it with fags to remind users of outstanding issues etc., simpifying daiy maintenance. History Function FiedMate Operation og are automaticay recorded. - Date & Time - Device Tag - Device ID - User - Source: DTM works, DD Menu, Parameter Manager, etc. - Category: Configuration (device parameter change) and System (ogs of ogin, etc.). - Message: Detais og of changes Device Status View Dispays the history of the device aarms. Input Loop Check Support This function is to output test signa from device. Some test pattern(ex. 3 point check / 5 point check) and signa vaue can create easiy. This test pattern can be saved and read. Any device can be operated through the same user interface - regardess suppier, type or communication protoco (HART/BRAIN). 3rd Party DTM Function This function provides device interface in compiance with FDT standard, enabing the features defined by the device vendor s DTM. Pressure Caibration Support Function Guides the caibration work in combination with CA700 pressure caibrator. This function provides the efficient caibration work by monitoring the pressure vaue and the current vaue in rea time. Aso, the high precision caibration work is provided by automatic recording caibration data. The caibration resut can be outputted as caibration report.

3 Fied Diagnostic Function NAMUR NE107 is a recommendation to categorize aarms into four status signas (Faiure, Function Check, Out of Specification and Maintenance Required), this aows for reiabe operation, more effi cient panning of maintenance and higher confi dence in the instruments operation. The cassifi cation, confi guration and status of many device aarms that conform to NE107 can be easiy checked, changed and monitored by Fied Diagnostic Function. (It supports FOUNDATION fiedbus H1 and Profi bus) 3rd Party COMM DTM support Provides advanced connections and communication networking enabing: - Access PROFIBUS-PA/DP devices - Access HART devices via PROFIBUS - Access 3rd Party mutipexers. User defi ned communication topoogy can be saved in FDT project. Seria Number Acquisition Appicabe device: HART EJX and EJA series Acquires seria number of the device and updates it in the Device Maintenance Information. Aso exports the foowing information to a fi e. - Seria Number - Device Tag - Device ID - Device Revision - Mode and Suffix Code AXF Verification Too (/VF option) Verifi es Magnetic f owmeters (AXF) and supports two types of verifi cation. One is standard verifi cation to verify it without having to disconnect from a process ine. And another is enhanced verifi cation to verify it more precise than standard one. The Verifi cation resut can be printed and stored in the Device Maintenance Information. This function provides the capabiity of upoading Fied- Mate data to the management system and downoading any information to FiedMate for pant maintenance. Aso, FiedMate can communicate with non-standard communication protoco fi ed devices. This function is provided as a specia order (Tokuchu). Bi-directiona fi e transfer operation is supported. PC/FiedMate USB USB FiedMate MODEM SUPPLY CHECK Load Resistor FiedMate Vaidator (/VT option) Vaidates the connection between N-IO node and fi ed devices without CENTUM FCS (Fied Contro Station)/ ProSafe-RS SCS (Safety Contro Station). The N-IO node confi guration and input/output vaidation are aso possibe without FCS/SCS. This option enabes FiedMate to communicate with fi ed devices via N-IO node. (The Device Repacement Too cannot be used via N-IO node.) * FiedMate Vaidator can be used ony whie the communication between FCS/SCS and the N-IO node is not estabished. * The I/O configuration data can be exported/imported between FiedMate Vaidator and CENTUM VP/ProSafe-RS. 7 7 9. Compatibiity Compatibiity between FiedMate and Device Fies is indicated on the web site at the foowing URL. For more information, see the System Requirements User Registration FiedMate can be instaed on a singe PC using the icense number provided. FiedMate can be used for up to 30 days without registration. For permanent instaation, user registration is required. After registration an Activation Key is provided to the user. User registration can be done on the FiedMate User Registration web site. The items required for user registration are the icense number and Hard Disk seria number (Voume Seria Number) of the PC to which FiedMate is instaed. Instaation of FiedMate Vaidator requires activation of FiedMate. 11.
