For more informtion, see "8 Smrt Gri pplition" on pge 7. 5 Instlltion 5. verview: Instlltion The instlltion of the LAN pter onsists of the following stges: Mounting the rer sing to the wll Mounting the PCB to the rer sing 3 Conneting eletril wiring 4 Mounting the front sing to the rer sing 5. Mounting the LAN pter 5.. Aout mounting the LAN pter The LAN pter is mounte to the wll y wy of the mounting holes () in the rer sing. Before mounting the rer sing to the wll, you hve to remove some knokout holes ()(), epening on how you wnt to route the wiring n insert it into the pter. You n route n insert the wiring from the ottom or from the rer. Respet the following rules n restritions: Mounting holes Bottom knokout holes Rer knokout holes Wiring from the ottom. ALWAYS reple ny remove knokout holes with the grommets elivere in the essory g. Before inserting the grommets into the holes, ut them open with utility knife, so tht you n let the wiring enter the pter through the grommets. The grommets MUST e inserte into the holes efore you insert the wiring into the pter. If the solr inverter/energy mngement system hs voltge free ontt, onnet the LAN pter s follows: 5.4. To open the LAN pter Remove the srew with srewriver. Pull the top of the front sing towrs you. NTICE Mke sure fst ting fuse or iruit reker is present in the setup (or s prt of the wll soket, or instll n externl one (rte urrent 00 ma~6 A, type B)) Finishing the LAN pter instlltion 3 LAN pter seril numer Before losing the LAN pter, note own its seril numer. This numer n e foun on the pter's Ethernet onnetor (ottommost numer on X4A). Note it own in the tle elow. Seril numer 6 Strting up the system The LAN pter gets its power from the inoor unit. For the LAN pter to funtion, therefore mke sure it is onnete to the inoor unit, n the inoor unit is powere on. The eletril heters will NLY operte when the power limittion is higher thn the power rting of the heters. For ERLQ0~06 n EBLQ +EDLQ0~06CA(3)V3+W outoor units, the power limittion funtionlity is NT ville. When these outoor units re use in Smrt Gri system, they will operte without power limittion.
