2 Remove the protetive tpe n film overing the mhine, n lso from the LCD. (For DCP-J725DW only) Remove the ornge protetive prt y lifting the front of the mhine n then pulling own on the pking prt. Open the output pper try over. 1 1 Remove the plsti g ontining the ink rtriges from on top of the pper try. With oth hns, gently press n slie the pper sie guies n then the pper length guie to fit the pper size. 2 Mke sure tht the tringulr mrks on the pper sie guies n pper length guie line up with the mrk for the pper size you re using. 1 Mke sure you hve ll the omponents. 2 Lo plin A4 pper Pull the pper try ompletely out of the mhine Fn the stk of pper well to voi pper jms n misfees. Alwys mke sure tht the pper is not urle or wrinkle. 2

3 e Gently put the pper into the pper try print sie own n top ege first. Chek tht the pper is flt in the try. IMPORTANT Be reful tht you o not push the pper in too fr; it my lift t the k of the try n use pper fee prolems. 3 Connet the power or WARNING The mhine must e fitte with n erthe plug. IMPORTANT DO NOT onnet the USB le yet (if you re using USB le). Connet the power or. f g h i Gently just the pper sie guies to the pper with oth hns. Mke sure tht the pper sie guies touh the eges of the pper. Close the output pper try over. Slowly push the pper try ompletely into the mhine. While holing the pper try in ple, pull out the pper support until it liks, n then unfol the pper support flp. 4 Choose (Exmple for Austrli) The Wrning LED on the ontrol pnel will sty on until you hve instlle the ink rtriges. your lnguge (Not ville in Hong Kong/Tiwn) Press s or t to isply your lnguge n press the esire lnguge. Press Yes or No. If you set the wrong lnguge, you n hnge it lter. See Choose your lnguge (if neee) on pge

4 5 Instll the ink rtriges CAUTION If ink gets in your eyes, wsh it out with wter t one n ll otor if you re onerne. Unpk the ink rtrige. Turn the green relese lever on the ornge protetive pking lokwise until it liks to relese the vuum sel. Then remove the ornge protetive pking s shown. Mke sure you instll the Strter Ink Crtrige inlue with your mhine first. Mke sure tht the power is turne on. The LCD will show No Ink Crtrige. Open the ink rtrige over Remove the ornge protetive prt. IMPORTANT DO NOT shke the ink rtriges. If ink stins your skin or lothing, wsh with sop or etergent t one. 1 Do not throw wy the ornge protetive prt. You will nee it if you trnsport the mhine. 4

Gently push the k of the ink rtrige mrke PUSH until it liks. After ll the ink rtriges re instlle lose the ink rtrige over. IMPORTANT After initil instlltion of the ink rtriges, the mhine will strt lening the ink tue system. This lening proess will lst pproximtely four minutes. DO NOT unplug the mhine from the power outlet or ttempt to stop the lening proess. Interruption of lening proess my use unesire print qulity prolems. 1 2 IMPORTANT DO NOT tke out ink rtriges if you o not nee to reple them. If you o so, it my reue the ink quntity n the mhine will not know the quntity of ink left in the rtrige. DO NOT repetely insert n remove the rtriges. If you o so, ink my seep out of the rtrige. If you mix the olours y instlling n ink rtrige in the wrong position, len the print he severl times fter orreting the rtrige instlltion. If your ess point is set to not rost the SSID you n mnully it y liking the Avne utton. Follow the on-sreen instrutions for entering the Nme (SSID), n then lik Next. h If the onfirmtion sreen ppers, hek the ox n lik Next, go to h. Otherwise, go to i. When the following sreen ppers, hek Yes if you wnt to onnet to the liste SSID. Clik Next n go to k. 18

If your network is not onfigure for Authentition n Enryption, the following sreen will pper. To ontinue onfigurtion, lik OK n go to k. Wireless setup is now omplete. A four level initor is shown t the top of the LCD whih isplys the wireless signl strength of your ess point/router. To instll MFL-Pro Suite, ontinue to step 15-e on pge 25. Now go to Pge 25 k Clik Next. The settings will e sent to your mhine. The settings will remin unhnge if you lik Cnel. If you wnt to mnully enter the IP ress settings of your mhine, lik Chnge IP Aress n enter the neessry IP ress settings for your network. If list of SSIDs is isplye, press s or t to hoose the SSID you wrote own in step 12- on pge 16.
