These are typicay used as main programme on air, with a separate takback circuit. The push buttons for each circuit are configurabe and can operate in different modes,to aow configuration for different types of uses: - Latching on/off - Momentary push totak (PTT) -Inteigent mode where a short tap is atching, but a onger hod becomes momentary - Aways on and mutes whenpressed (cough) - Pressing one button,mutes the other circuit (takback) Headphone Monitoring There is a 6.35mm jack socket for headphone monitoring. Each of the two 4 wire inputs can be seected to be in the eft ear,right ear,or both ears of the headphones, depending on the users preference. The eve of each input can aso be independenty seected. ensound The headphone ampifier is inteigent and capabe of driving correct eves into ow or high impedance headphones and capabe of connecting directy to both stereo or mono headphones and earpieces. The headphone monitor aso incudes sidetone (at a programmabe eve) - sidetone is the commentator s own voice. Singe Input TheVita is a singe user unit,with one high quaity input. The input is mic/mic+48v/ine switchabe, on a 3 pin XLR, with a variabe gain contro. As the Vita can be used for on air broadcast, Gensound s Referee compressor imiter is used to contro the audio eves and prevent any cipping. The Referee compressor has been deveoped over many years of working with sports commentators, and provides a genty increasing compression as the input signa approaches cipping. In norma use the compressor is not active as it ony starts working as cipping approaches,so norma dynamic range is maintained.

This ink carries: - 2 audio inputs - 2 audio outputs - Power over Ethernet (PoE) Audio connections across the network can be to: - AnotherVITAas a pointto point 4W connection ip - An Express Commentary Unit, an Inferno Commentary Unit or a GS-FW012 ip 4 wire unit aspart of a takbacksetup. - An AoIP44,DARK88 or DARK 1616 audio input/output interface - Any other Dante compatibe unit Power The Vita has two power sources. When connected to a PoE network switch or PoE midspan power suppy. There is aso an input for a 12 VDC connection. PPM Meters There are two 4 segment PPM meters on the VITA, showing -12 to +6. Network Remote Contro Vita Controer is a Windows 10 PC appication, and it can be downoaded for free from When aunched, Vita Controer scans the network for a connected Vita s, which show up on the eft hand side. The function of each Vita is repicated on Vita Controer, with each unit receiving its own visua controer modue. Remote Contro Of Mic Gain Leves There are settings to seect mic, mic +48v, or ine inputs. A rotary contro then acts as the gain eve up and down. This a operates in rea time. Tak Button Configuration Directy cicking on the program or takback button on Vita Controer wi work in the same way as if it was pressed ocay on the Vita itsef. For exampe, this is used to mute the program mic when the takback button is pressed. Loca Contro Security Vita Controer can disabe the oca contros on the unit. This gives security to the engineer using Vita Controer that they have fu contro of a eves and operation and can not be over ridden. If the oca contros are not disabed, and adjustment on the oca unit wi over ride the remote setting.
