To istall the AirSpeed Multi Stream Remote Cosole: 1. Locate the AirSpeed Multi Stream Remote Cosole applicatio file AirSpeedMultiStreamRemoteCosoleSetup.exe, ad copy it to your desktop. 2. Ru the AirSpeedMultiStreamRemoteCosoleSetup.exe file. The AirSpeed Multi Stream Remote Cosole will automatically be istalled o your system. Startig the Remote Cosole Durig the istallatio process, a shortcut to AirSpeed Multi Stream Remote Cosole was istalled o your computer s desktop. To start AirSpeed Multi Stream Remote Cosole: 1. You ca also chage the duratio or time remaiig of a curretly recordig clip by clickig i the field to eable editig, the typig the duratio directly i the field. The Remote Cosole Playlist eables you to easily create playlists ad execute some basic tasks usig these playlists o the AirSpeed Multi Stream. A Playlist ca support up to 24 hours of video, ad up to 1000 clips. You ca eable or disable the View Playlists mode at ay time, by selectig Optios > View Playlists. 30

Eablig Trasfers for AirSpeed Multi Stream Servers Oce lauched, if your AirSpeed Multi Stream server is set up with a Stadaloe Trasfer Maager, or i a Team cofiguratio, you must eable trasfers o the AirSpeed Multi Stream Remote Cosole to allow commuicatio betwee it ad the AirSpeed Multi Stream server. Select the XDCAM AirSpeed Multi Stream server ame that you wat to cofigure from the Select Server list. The Select Server list displays the most recetly used AirSpeed Multi Stream servers. 4. Click Add to add the selected server to the Cofigured Servers list. The Cofigured Servers list displays the AirSpeed Multi Stream servers that are cofigured for use by the stadaloe Trasfer Maager server. 5. (Optioal) To remove a server from the Cofigured Servers list, select the server you wat to remove ad click the Delete butto. 6. (Optioal) For MPEG-2 HD (XDCAM) systems oly, select the compressio format you wat to use for your trasfers from the XDCAM STP Format list. For SD, DNxHD, ad AVC-Itra systems, leave this field blak. 7. Click the Update butto to save your chages. You will be asked to restart the Trasfer Egie. Click OK. 8. Maually stop ad restart the Trasfer Egie. At this poit, the server is cofigured for igest ad playback. For MPEG-2 (XDCAM) servers, a profile is geerated that allows you to sed to playback MPEG-2, 720p or 1080i media. Performig a Edit While Capture (EWC) with Auto Trasfer If you are i a Team cofiguratio, you ca use the Edit While Capture with Auto Trasfer workflow to eable the AirSpeed Multi Stream server to capture directly to your shared storage workspace locatio cofigured i the Avid Service Cofiguratio. The metadata for these clips will also be trasferred to the locatio defied i the Master clip locatio (Stadaloe) field i the Avid Service Cofiguratio. This workflow ca oly be used with ISIS 5000 or ISIS 7000 shared storage. MediaNetwork is ot supported. Before you ca perform a EWC with Auto Trasfer, make sure that your system has bee set up usig the Team Cofiguratio (stadaloe Trasfer Maager with Shared storage). Also, o the Default Templates tab i the Avid Service Cofiguratio, make sure of the followig: I the Igest trasfer workspace/project based o field, make sure that the Destiatio template that is selected icludes the workspace that you wat to trasfer the media to.
