3 Important cons n the user gude Warnngs, the non-adherence to whch can lead to njury to persons or damage to devces or a generate costs. Prerequste for carryng out the followng acton. h Important nformaton regardng functon and approprate handlng. Safety precautons a Read the safety precautons and the user gude before use. Explan ther content and the potental hazards assocated wth usng the devce to your chldren. Never expose the MobleDock to heat sources, drect sunlght or other electrcal devces. Do not use the devces n envronments wth a potental exploson hazard (e.g. pant shops). The devces are not splashproof. For ths reason do not nstall them n a damp envronment such as bathrooms or shower rooms. Use only the power adapter ndcated on the devce. Whlst chargng, the power socket must be easly accessble If you gve your Ggaset to a thrd party, make sure you also gve them the user gude. Remove faulty devces from use or have them repared by our Servce team, as these could nterfere wth other wreless servces. Usng your telephone may affect nearby medcal equpment. Be aware of the techncal condtons n your partcular envronment, e.g. doctor's surgery. If you use a medcal devce (e.g. a pacemaker), please contact the devce manufacturer. They wll be able to advse you regardng the susceptblty of the devce to external sources of hgh frequency energy (for the specfcatons of your Ggaset product see "Specfcatons"). Gettng started h Place the MobleDock wthn the range of the DECT telephone base and n a locaton wth good GSM recepton for the smartphone. The smartphone supports Bluetooth 4.0. An addtonal regstraton slot s avalable on the DECT base. The system PIN of the DECT telephone s da f no sv en es pt ru uk 1

4 Gettng started On/off key Connectng: Plug n the USB chargng cable 3 and the power adapter 2. Insert the cables nto the cable channels 1. Plug the power adapter nto the power socket. The whte LED flashes 7. Connectng to the Ggaset-DECT telephone: MobleDock: Press the DECT regstraton key 4 brefly and as smultaneously as possble Telephone base: Press and hold (mn. 3 seconds) the regstraton key. The system PIN of the DECT telephone system must be "0000" ( page 3). Establshng a connecton may take some tme. Durng ths tme, the whte DECT status LED flashes 7. Followng successful regstraton, the DECT status LED 7 remans llumnated. Connectng to DECT telephones from another manufacturers ( page 4) Connectng to the smartphone: MobleDock: Press the Bluetooth key 5 brefly, the blue Bluetooth status LED 6 flashes and Smartphone:... Actvate Bluetooth Select MobleDock or INT x... Where applcable a code: Enter "0000", or confrm the code provded the devces connect. Followng successful connecton, the Bluetooth status LED 6 remans llumnated. Smartphone calls wll now be ndcated on all handsets. You can make customsed settngs usng the MobleDock app ( page 6). 2

5 Addtonal nformaton Settng up the MobleDock a Protect your MobleDock from mosture, dust, corrosve lquds and vapours. The MobleDock s desgned for use n closed, dry rooms wthn a temperature range of +5 C to +45 C. The devce's feet do not usually leave any marks on surfaces. However, due to the multtude of dfferent varnshes and polshes used on furnture, contact marks on the surfaces cannot be completely ruled out. The DECT range of the MobleDock s up to 50 m n buldngs, and up to 300 m outdoors. Connectng the MobleDock The power adapter must always be connected, as the MobleDock wll not operate wthout a power supply. Swtch on the MobleDock usng the On/off key, f the whte LED does not flash after connectng. Chargng the smartphone The smartphone begns to charge as soon as t s connected to the MobleDock usng the chargng cable. The USB cable belongng to the smartphone can also be used for chargng nstead of the USB chargng cable suppled. The connected smartphone wll then also charge when the MobleDock s swtched off. Connectng the MobleDock to your Ggaset-DECT telephone The system PIN of the DECT telephone system must be "0000". If ths s not the case, the system PIN must be set to "0000" for the regstraton of the MobleDock (see the user gude of the DECT telephone) or the connecton must be establshed usng the MobleDock app. The MobleDock wll automatcally be assgned a name e.g. "MobleDock" or "INT x". The assgned name s dependent upon your base staton. If the maxmum number of devces are already regstered to the DECT base (all nternal numbers are assgned), proceed as descrbed n the user gude of the DECT telephone. The settng for ECO DECT on Ggaset telephones s supported. 3

6 Connectng the MobleDock to DECT telephones from other manufacturers h MobleDock app ( page 6). The smartphone supports Bluetooth 4.0. Smartphone Androd 4.4/ OS 7 or hgher. Smartphone and MobleDock are connected va Bluetooth. Install and launch the MobleDock app. Implement setup usng the nstallaton wzard. Check the functons wth a test call on your smartphone and accept the call on your DECT telephone. If the test s not successful (no voce connecton), select another profle n the Sde menu: MobleDock settngs under Compatblty profles. Connectng the MobleDock to a smartphone va Bluetooth If access to the smartphone contacts s allowed when regsterng wth Bluetooth, the name of the caller wll be dsplayed n addton to the number on the DECT telephone dsplay, f the caller s entered n the smartphone's drectory (phonebook). Ths functon s dependent on the DECT base used and the handset. A maxmum of 5 smartphones can be connected to the MobleDock. Two smartphones can be lnked to the MobleDock at the same tme. If one of the two lnked smartphones s removed from the BT range, the connecton s dsconnected. Then another smartphone that s already connected can take and assgn the open connecton slot. If the smartphone allows access to the drectory, confrm so that the name dsplay s enabled for calls. 4

7 Call transfer to the DECT telephone h The MobleDock s swtched on. The connected smartphone s wthn the BT range of the MobleDock (default settng approx. 1.5 m; the blue Bluetooth status LED s llumnated). Only one call s ever forwarded to the DECT telephone. Further calls wll only be sgnaled on the smartphone. Dependng upon your DECT base and f your smartphone supports t, the followng s dsplayed: the name of the smartphone and the caller's number or the name of the smartphone and the name of the caller from the smartphone drectory or the nternal number of the MobleDock n the DECT system (e.g. "INT2") see also Restorng the MobleDock to ts default settng Remove the MobleDock power adapter. Press the On/off key and hold down for more than 5 seconds. Plug the MobleDock power adapter n agan, keep the On/off key held down. Release the On/off key. The MobleDock has now been reset. 5

Care Wpe the devce wth a damp cloth or an antstatc cloth. Do not use solvents or mcrofbre cloths. Never use a dry cloth; ths can cause statc. In rare cases, contact wth chemcal substances can cause changes to the devce s exteror. Due to the wde varety of chemcal products avalable on the market, t was not possble to test all substances. Imparments n hgh-gloss fnshes can be carefully removed usng dsplay polshes for moble phones. Contact wth lqud If the devce comes nto contact wth lqud: 1. Dsconnect the power supply. 2. Allow the lqud to dran from the devce. 3. Pat all parts dry. 4. Place the devce n a dry, warm place for at least 72 hours (not n a mcrowave, oven etc.) wth the battery compartment open and the keypad facng down (f applcable). 5.
