3 1. General safety precautons Important nstructons for nstallaton safety. Incorrect nstallaton can cause serous njury Ths nstallaton manual s ntended for qualfed personnel only. Installaton, electrcal connectons and adjustments must be performed n accordance wth Good Workng Methods and n complance wth the present standards. Read the nstructons carefully before nstallng the product. Bad nstallaton could be dangerous. The packagng materals (plastc, polystyrene, etc.) should not be dscarded n the envronment or left wthn reach of chldren, as these are a potental source of danger. Before nstallng the product, make sure t s n perfect condton. Do not nstall the product n explosve areas and atmospheres: the presence of nflammable gas or fumes represents a serous safety hazard. The safety devces (photocells, safety edges, emergency stops, etc.) must be nstalled takng nto account: applcable laws and drectves, Good Workng Methods, nstallaton premses, system operatng logc and the forces developed by the automaton. Before connectng the power supply, make sure the plate data correspond to that of the mans power supply. An omnpolar dsconnecton swtch wth mnmum contact gaps of 3 mm must be ncluded n the mans supply. Check that there s an adequate resdual current crcut breaker and a sutable overcurrent cut-out upstream of the electrcal nstallaton n accordance wth Good Workng Methods and wth the laws n force. When requested, connect the automaton to an effectve earthng system that comples wth current safety standards. Durng nstallaton, mantenance and repar operatons, cut off the power supply before openng the cover to access the electrcal parts. The electronc parts must be handled usng earthed antstatc conductve arms. The manufacturer of the motorsaton declnes all responsblty n the event of component parts beng ftted that are not compatble wth the safe and correct operaton. Use orgnal spare parts only for reparng or replacng products. 1.1 Safety functons The E2H control panel has the followng safety functons: - obstacle recognton wth force lmtng; The maxmum response tme of the safety functons s 0.5 s. The reacton tme to a faulty safety functon s 0.5 s. The safety functons comply wth the standards and performance level ndcated below: EN ISO :2008 Category 2 PL=c EN ISO :2012 The safety functon cannot be bypassed ether temporarly or automatcally. Fault excluson has not been appled. 41

5 4. Connecton of power supply Before connectng the power supply, make sure the plate data correspond to that of the mans power supply. An omnpolar dsconnecton swtch wth mnmum contact gaps of 3 mm must be ncluded n the mans supply. Check that upstream of the electrcal nstallaton there s an adequate resdual current crcut breaker and a sutable overcurrent cutout. Use a H05RN-F 3G1,5 or H05RR-F 3G1,5 type electrc cable and connect to the termnals L (brown), N (blue), (yellow/green) n the automaton. Secure the cable usng the specal cable clamp and remove the outer sheath near the termnal only. Connecton to the mans power supply, n the secton outsde the automaton, s made wth ndependent channels and separated from the connectons to the control and safety devces. The channels must penetrate a few centmetres nsde the automaton thorough a hole maxmum Ø16 mm. Make sure there are no sharp edges that may damage the power supply cable. Make sure that the mans power supply (230 V) conductors and the accessory power supply (24 V) conductors are separate. 43

6 5. Commands Command Functon Descrpton 1 5 N.O. STEP BY STEP Selectng, the closure of the contact actvates a closng or openng operaton n the sequence: open-stop-close-open. Warnng: f automatc closng s enabled, the duraton of the stop s selected va the selecton. OPENING Selectng, the closure of the contact actvates an openng operaton. 1 6 N.C. SAFETY STOP Selectng, the openng of the safety contact stops and prevents any movement. Note: to set the dfferent contact safety functons, see the parameter settngs. 1 6 N.O. CLOSING Selectng, the closure of the contact actvates a closng operaton. 1 8 N.C. REVERSAL SAFETY CONTACT The openng of the safety contact trggers a reversal of moton (re-openng) durng a closng operaton. Selectng, wth the automaton dle, the openng of the contact prevents any operaton. Selectng, wth the automaton dle, the openng of the contact prevents the closng operaton only. 1 9 N.C. STOP Openng the safety contact stops the current operaton. Note: the flashng lght flashes. 1 9 N.O. HOLD TO RUN FUNCTION Selectng and, the permanent openng of the safety contact enables the hold to run functon. In ths state, the openng (1-5) and closng (1-6) controls functon only f held n the pressed poston, and the automaton stops when the controls are released. Any safety devces, plus the automatc closng, are dsabled N.O. PARTIAL OPENING Selectng, the closure of the contact actvates a partal openng operaton of the door wng commanded by motor 1, and the duraton s fxed by adjustment. Warnng: f automatc closng s enabled, the duraton of the stop s selected va the adjustment N.C. AUTOMATIC CLOSING Selectng, the permanent closure of the contact enables automatc closng. WARNING: Make a jumper on all NC contacts f not n use. The termnals wth the same number are equal 44

7 5.1 SOFA1-SOFA2 or GOPAVRS self-controlled safety edge Command Functon Descrpton SAFETY TEST SOFA1-SOFA2 GOPAVRS N.C. OPENING SAFETY DEVICE 1 8 N.C. REVERSAL SAFETY CONTACT Insert the electronc card SOFA1-SOFA2 or GOPAVRS n the housng AUX on the control panel. Selectng, the termnal 41 actvates a safety edge test before each operaton. If the test fals, an alarm message s vsualsed on the dsplay. Selectng, connect the output contact of devce SOFA1-SOFA2 to termnals 1-6 on the control panel (n seres wth the photocell output contact, f nstalled). Selectng, connect the output contact of devce SOFA1-SOFA2 to termnals 1-8 on the control panel (n seres wth the photocell output contact, f nstalled). 45

Electroncally protected output. Automaton status lamp (proportonal). The lght swtches off when the automaton s closed; the lght swtches on when the automaton s open; the lght flashes wth a varable frequency whle the automaton s operatng. Flashng lght (LAMPH). Selectng, the flashng lght actvates smultaneously wth the openng and closng operaton. NOTE: wth automatc closng enabled, there s a pre-flashng of 3 s that cannot be regulated. Courtesy lght. Selectng, t s possble to connect a courtesy lght that actvates each tme a total or partal openng command or closng command s receved. The duraton of the lght can be regulated va the adjustment and V / 1,2 A Electrc block 24V Electrc lock 12 V. Connect the suppled 8.2 Ω / 5W resstance n 12V~ / 15 W seres. The control panel s ftted wth a housng for a plug-n card, such as rado recevers, magnetc sprals, etc. The acton of the card AUX can be selected va the selecton. WARNING: the plug-n cards must be nserted and removed wth the power supply dsconnected. The storage module allows remote controls to be stored and the type of control panel applcaton to be defned (see TECHNICAL DETAILS on page 4). COM Storage If the control panel s replaced, the storage module beng used can module be nserted n the new control panel. WARNING: the storage module must be nserted and removed wth the power supply dsconnected. BAT BATK1 2 x 12 V / 2 Ah Battery operatng. The batteres are kept charged when the power supply s on. If the power supply s off, the control panel s powered by the batteres untl power s re-establshed or untl the battery voltage drops below the safety threshold. If ths occurs, the control panel turns off. WARNING: the batteres must always be connected to the control panel for chargng. Perodcally check the effcency of the batteres. NOTE: the operatng temperature of the rechargeable batteres s approxmately +5 C/+40 C. 46

10 9. Adjustment NOTE: before makng all the automaton adjustments, nsert the dedcated memory module and press, or load the confguraton applyng to the automaton nstalled (see optons). When the power s connected or n the case of motor non-selecton, the dsplay wll block all operatons and gve an error message. WARNING: the pressure on the keys can be quck (less than 2 s) or prolonged (longer than 2 s). Unless specfed otherwse, quck pressure s ntended. To confrm the settng of a parameter, prolonged pressure s necessary. 9.1 Swtchng on and off The procedure to swtch on the dsplay s as follows: - press the ENTER key - start of dsplay functonng check - vsualsaton of frst level menu The procedure to swtch off the dsplay s as follows: - press the ESC key and keep t pressed NOTE: the dsplay swtches off automatcally after 60 s of nactvty. 9.2 Key combnatons The smultaneous pressng of the keys and ENTER performs an openng command. + = The smultaneous pressng of the keys and ENTER performs a closng command. + = The smultaneous pressng of the keys and performs a POWER RESET command. 11 9.3 Man menu - use the keys and to select the requred functon - press the ENTER key to confrm Dsplay Descrpton AT - Automatc Confguratons. The menu allows you to manage the automatc confguratons of the control panel. BC - Basc Confguratons. The menu allows to vsualse and modfy the man settngs of the control panel. BA - Basc Adjustments. The menu allows to vsualse and modfy the man adjustments of the control panel. RO - Rado Operatons. The menu allows you to manage the rado operatons of the control panel. SF - Specal Functons. The menu allows to set the password and manage the specal functons n the control panel. CC - Cycles Counter. The menu allows to vsualse the number of operatons carred out by the automaton, and manage the mantenance nterventons. AP - Advanced Parameters. The menu allows to vsualse and modfy the advanced settngs and adjustments of the control panel. After confrmng the selecton, you access the second level menu. Indcates how the control panel consders the automaton at the tme of swtch-on, or after a POWER RESET command. OPEN CLOSED EL - Enablement of electrc lock release stroke. When an electrc lock s present, the enablement of the release stroke s recommended. OFF ON 51

19 9.7 Second level menu - RO (Rado Operatons) - use the keys and to select the requred functon - press the ENTER key to confrm The procedures to actvate the functons are descrbed n the table. Dsplay SR - Transmtter memory storage. Descrpton...x2, x3... It s possble to drectly access the Transmtter memory storage menu wth the dsplay swtched off, but only wth Dsplay vsualzaton mode set at 00 or 03: - by transmttng a remote control not present n the memory, - by transmttng an unstored channel of a remote control already present n the memory. ER - Deletng a sngle transmtter. 2 s EA - Total memory deletng. 2 s 2 s EC - Deletng a sngle code. (FUTURE USE) RE - Settng memory openng from remote control. When enabled (ON) remote programmng s actvated. To memorse new transmtters wthout usng the control panel, press and hold down the PRG key of an already-memorsed GOL4 transmtter for 5 seconds untl the LED swtches on (wthn the capacty of the recever) and press any CH key of the new transmtter. NOTE: make sure that undesred transmtters are not accdently memorzed. MU - Settng the maxmum number of transmtters that can be memorzed on a memory module. It s possble to memorse up to 100 or 200 rollng code transmtters. NOTE: t s necessary to set to allow the system confguraton to be saved on the memory module OFF ON

To test the new confguraton, swtch off the dsplay and gve an open command usng key OFF ON Navgaton va transmtter keyboard s automatcally dsabled after 4 mnutes of nactvty or by settng.
